RockDove Men's Nomad Slipper with Memory Foam

I'm a size 8.5, so I ordered the 8-9. When I first tried them on, they were pretty tight fitting and, the area around the heel seemed annoyingly low. Was going to send them back but, I decided to wear them for a few days, and make up my mind. Glad I did. These are very comfortable. They've stretched into my fit perfectly. The cushion is just right. Not too spongey, and not hard at all. I'm in an older house, with hardwood floors. I needed something to keep my feet warm, and soften my step. These are perfect. Don't freak if they feel too snug, just give them a few days. Would definitely buy again.

We instantly fell in love with this well- made- in- the USA slippers! Excellent craftsmanship, perfect shape for an American foot, lots of the good, soft, sherpa-type stuff. Rubber sole, the harder vinyl (not loud on a floor), just another marvelous slipper by Tock Dove. (We had the "sleeping bag design" as my wife calls it, also top notch.). The sleeping bag design washed up expertly in the washer, air dried 2 days. Originally bought these in black last week, but the gray area $7 cheaper, no difference in quality, so I bought me and the Mrs. another pair in case Amazon doesn't carry them next year, as what happened with the camping slippers. My wife bought me one size larger, just in case they ran small. No need, as they'd be just fine, but going up one size made them a half size bigger, more happy feet comfort! If you're on the fence, take the plunge. I made friends with these in a New York minute, after having worn the big, clunky, sherpa and suede ankle-length ones for years. Since I wear them in bed for warmth, my wife thought these wouldn't continually fall off, find me several times yelling expletives, trying to find the clunky ones. These don't fall off, so even the cat is happy! And now my wife believes no more torn sheets at the foot end of the bed from my constant rubbing. More savings! Cha ching! Anyway, buy these, (try your normal size as they'll fit like shoes), for me, going up one size was just the ticket! My wife can now return the "Glerups" made in Norway, Switzerland, somewhere LL Bean chatted to my wife. Terrible felt wool, irritatingly so much on the skin, (not to mention my wallet). These area inexpensive, fit great, no itch, warm, all the good stuff!

I have purchased four pairs of these slippers! I first purchased a pair for my husband who is 73 and starting to have neuropathy symptoms including a feeling of coldness. He loves how warm they are, and that they have a rubberized sole so he can step outside wearing them. They are not binding on his feet, the sherpa like body of these slippers feeling just like a warm blanket. My dad who is 87 and suffers severely from neuropathy tried on my husband's slippers and instantly wanted a pair. I'll just say that this past Christmas my dad received his third pair of Rock Dove slippers! Dad has two grey and one brown pair and wears them to the grocery store sometimes, to the doctor, etc. He says they are lightweight, easy to get on and off, slip resistant and comfortable enough to live in. I know I will be purchasing more of these slippers for all the guys in my life!

Alright! 4 year Review! How do they hold up? Heal area needs improvement. Wish everyone would follow up with a later review to see how the products hold up. I have tried many touted slip on warm house slippers. I have wore these now for 4 years. They are not perfect and have problems, but I can not find any better choice so far that I have tried. As much as I want to bad mouth, I really can't because these things have really been put to the test and have held up. I wear these all the time and forget I have them on walking and running on concrete, after a rain, to the store. I have cold feet, so if I say they are warm, They are. The slippers are light, warm and super easy to put on. Over the years, all of the memory foam has long since wore away but the slippers have molded to my feet and stay warm. Because of that, you don;t want to stay on your feet for long periods of time as it starts to hurt my feet. The soles are amazingly still in great shape even after high mileage on the concrete. I need the same material for my car tires! I can step in a light puddle of water and it doesn't get my feet wet. The heal area are the only real problem that could be improved in my opinion. The Insulation Foam material gets all flattened and thinned and with the shoe over time, loosens up and now the slippers are barely hanging on to the heal. Sometimes the heal does pop out when walking. Good to see these are still available and will buy another pair.

I highly recommend these.. I have been wearing these almost 100% of the time year round as I work at home. These are comfortable and keep my feet very warm. I recommend getting a size smaller than your normal size because they do stretch out a bit after they're broken in.

Love these slippers so far. Great for the price for the quality when compared to other over-priced brands like Ugg. Comfortable, good materials. I would buy again.

Update: I can no longer recommend these. I've been wearing them for about 2 weeks now straight. I work from home I wear them in the house all the time. They have become so loose that they are close to slipping off my feet. Since the material is flimsy, they lose shape rather quickly. Washing them with hot water and putting them in the dryer did make them tighter but lost it's shape at the end of the day, in fact they look distorted. Also, the inside lining has completely flattened. I have since bought Ugg slippers on, yes they are more expensive but they are well constructed. _________________________________________ I'm a 9.5 and the 9.5-10.5 fits great with thicker wool socks, bare feet would be a just tad loose, but manageable. It's been raining here in California and these slippers have been through the rain test getting the mail and throwing out the trash, so far the top part didn't get wet and it hasn't fallen apart. Can't really give you a durability report as I just got them, but they seem well built. If I want to be ultra critical, the left shoe is just slightly a tighter fit than the right but it wasn't that bad but enough for me to notice, after wearing them for a few days, the slippers molded around the shape of my foot, don't even notice it anymore. Lastly, between these slippers and the Alvada wool socks, my feet are finally warm. My feet were always cold before this combo.

Love them..! I wear them around the house all the time. Comfortable and keep my feet warm especially in the man cave.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden, für mich wäre eventuell eine Nummer kleiner besser gewesen. Mit dicken Socken passen sie aber perfekt.

A mí esposo le fascinaron. Son súper cómodos, calientitos y lo mejor de todo, no se derrapan! Cuando se acaben por el uso definitivamente compraremos los mismos. Pero están súper durables y cómodos, así que será en un laaaaaargo tiempo.
