Good quality food for my girl, all ingredients wholesome and healthy, no nasty fillers. My girl is glossy and full of energy.

I've used Akela before, so have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this top class premium kibble to anybody who cares about what they're feeding their dogs, and wants to give them a high meat content, cereal free, quality kibble that doesn't contain any beet pulp or cheap fillers.Presented in a heavy duty ziplock bag, this 10kg size contains a medium sized kibble suitable for adult dogs at all work/life stages. I've attached an image for illustration of kibble size.Consisting of 80% fish, 20% Fruit, Vegetables and Botanicals, every constituent of this kibble is named.The ingredients listing is:Freshly prepared Trout (18%)Freshly prepared Salmon (17%)Freshly prepared White Fish (11%)Dehydrated Herring (11%)Sweet Potato (9%)Dehydrated Salmon (7%)Dehydrated White Fish (6%)Salmon Oil (5%)Tapioca (4%)Freshly Prepared Tuna (4%)The rest of the ingredients listing comprises vegetables, herbs and botanicals with an inclusion of vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Also contains Glucosamine, MSM and Chondroitin, plus probiotics.Analysis: Crude Protein 38%, Crude Oils and Fats 17.5%, Crude Fibre 3.5%, Ash 12%The protein content is high, but because this kibble contains very little in the way of starchy carbs, (dogs are biologically able to convert proteins and fats into an energy source much more efficiently than they are able to convert starch into energy) so as long as you're not giving your dog a starchy source (bread, biscuits or 'treats'), high protein levels shouldn't be an issue.Because this feed is so nutrient dense, it's economical to feed - a big German Shepherd in active work will need around 350g/day - an average sized (15kg) dog will need half that, but the bag has a good feeding guide printed on it.I just can't fault this product, and I'm really fussy about what I feed my dogs.Having said that, I feed my dogs a raw diet (prey model), but I do buy kibble for my pockets as 'rewards' when training or on walks, or the odd occasion when I might have forgotten to get something out of the freezer in time and it's still far too solid to give. It would be daft not to have something in as a standby, and this kibble is ideal. The pack has a long shelf life and doesn't contain any added chemical preservatives or colours.Oh, I almost forgot. It's incredibly palatable. My dogs love it, and will literally jump through hoops for it!

Good quality food. £54 for 10kg is way too expensive. Had trouble with delivery. Driver left it next door and I was in no door bell rang or even a knock only a txt to say had been delivered. 🤷 Driver just left it there as he had the wrong door and it was raining.😞

Great quality

Got this for my GSD. She wad a rescue dog and was being fed on basic cheap dog food which upset her stomach. Shes thriving now and loves it. Has a nice shiny coat now and bags of energy. Arrived within 3 days with a signed for delivery. Would recommened this for working dogs.
