worked for my ceiling fan.
was able to replaced my bad E17 intermediate base in my ceiling fan with these E26 medium base and worked fine. Only used one of the screws to mount with no issues.

The sockets appear to be of good quality
I replaced several broken sockets with these ceramic sockets. The hole pattern was exactly the same as the old sockets and the replacement was very easy. The quality appears to be much better than the sockets that failed. One type of fixture that I have is for a terrarium heat lamp of 75 watts (not too big). The old ceramic sockets were of a different design and disintegrated after about a month. I use these lamps for several hours a day and they do get very hot. These sockets are rated for 660 watts. The lamps are working now and only time will tell how well they hold up to the high heat.
