KRYDEX Tactical Helmet Battery Pouch Counterweight Pouch Helmet Battery Pack Balance Weight Bag with Hook&Loop for Tactical Helmet

After looking at a number of different Mfg's I went with the KRYDEX pouch. Ease of installation, fit, durability, quality Mfg, and that it blended right in with helmet cover. Velcro attachments very strong , and the extra loops inside and out are nice if you want to add various little things. Only downside is that if you are running a helmet cover that doesn't have a full strip of Velcro on the back, like mine, you will have to find a way to keep it from flopping around with the weights or NODS battery pack in it. The pouch has a loop on both sides for an attachment, but did not come with any way to attach it to the helmet. I made my own (yellow & red arrow). I would still recommend this as it a solid choice for a counterbalance pouch.

I bought this for a night vision set up and needed a counter weight pouch and a mohawk to do cable management for my battery pack. This is honestly such a good product for less than $20. The Velcro is super strong and isn't likely to come off even when running or training. Honestly was perfect for my use case.

I got this to replace a black one that came with my helmet. My helmet is camo and the black defeats the purpose. This product is very well made and has all the features of other brands. It comes with a battery holder that fits into the large pouch on the back. There is plenty of room for extra batteries and counter-weights when wearing NVG's. The velcro is good quality and grips very well. I am very happy with this product and I am sure you will be too.

Good counterweight pouch. The only thing that bothers me is that it does not come with counter weighs and I cannot seem to find any counterweights sold by themselves, but this is an overall good pouch and fits very nicely on my helmet

I will start off by saying that this DOES NOT come with weights. With that being said, having previously owned a TNVC Mohawk, this is a great alternative of you're not wanting to drop $100 for the legitimate one. Multicam pattern is nice and doesn't look off like other cheap knockofs often do. Hook and loop sticks well. I do not know how it looks under IR, I assume it'll glow seeing as how it's cheap chineseium. Best bang for your buck you're going to get. Would definitely recommend

I am very impressed with this Krydex mohawk. On initial inspection the product is very well made and for the price of entry to step up to the product offered by TNV_.com this one checks all the boxes for a fraction of the cost. I do not like the looks of multicam hook and loop velcro on the higher priced option so this one being a solid color was the initial draw for me to order it, the fact that its just a few shades off the factory loop on my hhv multicam helmet is a bonus. The battery insert isnt sewn consistently and some loops are slightly bigger than others but some quick swapping between AA and 123a batteries solved that issue. The horizontal loops inside the battery pouch are also present on this mohawk for lead counter weights but the weights are not included. Not a big deal at all. 5 out of 5 stars on this one. Krydex is becoming a go to source for my gear on a budget. That checks the boxes of much higher priced options.

I was expecting poor material and stitching but I bought it for MilSim and was not needing anything special. I was blown away by how rugged this Mohawk is crafted. 10/10. There is a removable battery pouch that can hold 12 batteries of different size AA,AAA. It also includes two elastic bands that are hard mounted to the counter weight pouch that can be used to add metal weight or Chemlight storage. The Velcro is great to hold your leads from your headset and the elastic bands are top knotch.

The Velcro holds for quite a long time so I’d say the sticky is good. The bungees wear out but mine are decently in tact holding a camo netting. The battery storage is a little on the loud side when opening and getting the batteries out one handed can be a pain too but they in there. All in all works great on team Wendy.
