Great quality. True to size probably tastes like fish. The texture is probably fish. Like the protein is probably great with fish. I got these cause. They make homemade dog food, and it covers the omega 3's and some of the omega sixes for the dogs. These are perfect for that. I don't eat them myself, and I think they stink.It's just like they should

Taste delicious!! My dog and I both eat these for their Omega 3’s… my fur baby has skin issues/ allergies…. And omega 3’s really help him. These sardines are fabulous!!

I don't like sardines but my dogs love them. I was buying them for an occasional treat between meals. I can't tell you how they taste but the dogs lick the bowl dry!!! This is a great price for 12. Now they get sardines 3 times a week. They LOVE IT!!

Taste is meh…not into them and I eat sardines all the time. Will go back to sardines in oil.

Now, these are sardines I can eat. I've tried many and let me tell you... I just couldn't. ha. These are perfect in taste, texture and smell all the while getting the nutrients the body needs. I love the fact that my dogs like them as well. So, every third day we (dogs included) have a sardine fest. Thanks Beach Cliff!

I was hoping to like these because my regular brand is not available at this time, however, I was disappointed. The price was okay, the sardines were in many pieces and not one was a filet, they were very soft...much more mushy than I am used to eating...and quite a lot of water. I doubt I will buy these again...but if they are the only ones available, I might.

The flavor is what you'd expect from sardines. I’ve consumed just three tins, and the sardines--so far—were not “the whole fish” but broken (though not “chum”). Since am not out for looks but for flavor, these were ok for salads or as, for example, a side dish with rice; but do not expect to serve them as ‘canapes’. Thus the 4 stars.
