My roommate has cats and I always keep them out of my room, so it already smells a bit better than the rest of my apartment. But the moment I added these to my room (and I hung ALL of them), it had a significant difference in making the place take on a new freshness. While not aesthetically pleasing, I can't smell the cats PERIOD. Solid buy. I would get it again.I did buy it with an air filter, and I do have plants in my room. I left for a couple of weeks, air filter stayed off, and I took the plants. Not as fresh as it was with everything combined, but it was still better than it was prior. I added some beeswax candles upon returning and your girl is living her best life.

Put in each room of very old musty house and smells are gone. Absorbed moisture. Just put around and forget. Works on it's on.

I bought these because after the nieces arrived from their camping ;I saw a mouse in the house. These were suppose to keep the mouse away from my area until I could catch it/them. I don't think it was effective for that but there were no odors in my craft room.

I placed these in my kitchen drawers because there was a funky smell in them. They have hindered the smell a little; but, not completely like I had wished. I am going to sit them out in the sun longer and see if there is a difference.

This product works great at eliminating smoke and food odors, not just masking them. It’s easy to use and leaves the air feeling fresh.

I am in love! Hung them in my basement and the musky smell is definitely not as strong anymore! We also have dogs and the one closet where I store dog things started getting this oder. Hung a charcoal bag in there and low and behold the smell left ! Go buy some!

I TOTALLY DOUBTED THIS WOULD WORK. I PURCHASED A OLDER HOME WHERE A CAT AND TWO DOGS HAD BEEN LIVING IN FOR YEARS AND THE PEOPLE HAD NOT EVER CLEANED UP THE ODOR WAS HORRID. HOW EVER I PURCHASED THESE CHARCOAL BAGS AND PLACED THEM THROUGH OUT THE HOUSE AND IN THE DUCK WORK. HAVE BEEN TOTALLY AMAZED AT HOW THEY HAVE REALLY CLEARED ALMOST ALL WITHIN THE FIRST WEEK OF USE. GOOD PRODUCT WITH GOOD RESULTS.
