I had a few cheap microphones in the past that I used for my songs and this so far is the best microphone to record vocals and guitar! I've only tried it on those two but I'll try my sax next. Before I had this mic, my recordings were low quality and I used a bunch of processing for it to sound at least decent as possible. However, this microphone already sounds great without the need of effects. It's opaque and has rich sound quality and detail.The -10db is SUPER handy for when you have a low volume instrument or vocal. Also, before I forget to mention, I can get pretty loud singing and playing-wise when recording. The past mics I had clipped terribly even though I did a good performance. The MXL 770 doesn't even clip when I get loud vocally and guitar-wise. I can comfortably sing at my normal volume instead at a breathy low volume being anxious of the mic clipping. If you're looking for a mic that sounds amazing and at a good budget, AND you like to sing loud like I do, this mic is right for you!

Soy amante del buen sonido. En el mercado hay una cantidad enorme de micrófonos mucho más económicos y siendo honesto que hacen el trabajo. Con la ayuda de una buena tarjeta o interface se puede producir bien. Pero nada como un buen sonido de primera mano.Este mic. tiene unas prestaciones excelentes para los colores de mi voz. Soy locutor y con mi voz de locutor clasico me siento súper cómodo con la grabación previo a agregar cualquier preset para mejorar la voz.Tiene una función para incrementar la ganancia que facilita la vida a los que no tiene buena amplificación con la tarjeta.Para voces y podcast un 10/10. Mantiene los colores naturales de la voz, atrapa muy poco sonido de ambiente porque lo que las grabaciones resultan mas limpias de una.Los que lo han usado para grabar instrumentos daran su opinion.Lo mejor lo compre con un excelente descuento!

I get a lot of compliments on this microphone when I’m on zoom meetings they say I’m very professional looking in the sound very good quality sound I couldn’t be any happier and I have a lot of different types of Mic’s

I bought this after reading reviews on independent websites about the best microphones for music recording (where this was listed as a top mic for the price -- best value) . Paired this with a microphone tripod (amazon basics one is fine). This microphone has excellent audio quality and when placed near the piano (with appropriate volume settings) it will not pick up random noise or other sounds in the background (like light footsteps or shuffling in the same room, noises from other rooms, pots and pans in the kitchen). Very satisfied with purchase.

I’ve played folk music for a while, and the live performances are always a bit lacking because the pickups and mics that I’ve used in the past don’t really capture the true sound of my instruments. This mic changed all of that. It gives me the all encompassing sound that I’ve been looking for, and I wish I had bought it years ago.

Tenia 3 microf0nos negros de este modelo, compre este por estar mas barato, y ademas que en las fotografias dice que incluye el cable y un filtro anti pop, lo cual no es cierto, me llego igual que los otros que tengo, en un case con el puro micro y su base para montarlo, sin cable y sin el friltro, menos el trapito que indican.... son microfonos muy buenos , los uso para podcast, no le pongo las 5 estrellas porque es publicidad engañosa, aunque tengo que admitir que son mucho mas baratos que los primeros 3 que compre.
