Great rack, easily setup, and fantastic value!
I was in search of a rack for squats and bench pressing and found this on Amazon. The reviews were very positive and they were selling out quickly so I snagged one before it was sold out. The box was delivered within a few days (ahead of delivery date) and I was blue to easily carry it to my basement for installation. My daughter and I spend no more than 45 minutes assembling the rack which was quite easy and self explanatory. The directions are very clear and everything is well packaged in stages so you basically take your designated parts plus hardware and assemble everything in groups. The kit also included a wrench tool (plus Allen wrenches) for the nuts but I found it easier to use my own ratchet/wrenches. The pull-up bar has 2 height settings when assembling and its not adjustable unless you want to unscrew the top and reset its height (this is not an issue - set it once and be done with it). What I like about this is how solid the rack is and how stable everything is, even when doing pull-ups and squats with a good amount of weights. The bar stock is very think and adequately supports the weights making this very sturdy. The finish is also very good and I like the safety bars on the lower level in case you need to catch the weights. I can easily set the height brackets and move between squats and chest press. Overall I would highly recommend this and for the money. It’s got to be one of the best value for the money buys in gym equipment. I’m now canceling my gym membership due to Covid and have a great setup in my basement. Enjoy!

Terrific product !
Did lots of online searching for a combination squat rack/bench press in this "scarcity" environment, to replace a very old and unsafe bench. Considered other options without a pullup bar due to our low basement ceiling height - just over 7 ft - but many were unavailable and reviews of those that were available were not so good. I had seen this rack previously but it was not available, then during a later search it became available again. Since it offered a 78 in height setup option I decided to order it. I'm totally thrilled with it - It is an awesome rack. It came well-packed, the instructions were clear, assembly hardware was well-organized, it was easy to set up and it is solid as a rock. My son the gym rat is excited to have a rack that will handle squats & rack pulls easily and happy he'll finally be able to get a quality work out at home. The pullup bar on the low setting leaves just enough clearance to use it even with the low ceiling. The components are well made, the footprint is reasonable and gives it the stability you should expect. It works well with a new Fitness Reality bench I had purchased a month before - also very well made and just coincidentally the same brand. The company knows what it is doing and is delivering great quality products at a reasonable price. All the positive reviews I read before I bought it are all well-deserved - so here's another one.

Excellent bang for the buck!
Arrived intact and very well packaged with all pieces in perfect order. Instructions are clear and set up is simple but you might need a helper to get the upright aligned with the base. It is sturdy and well made, perfect for my home gym but certainly not “commercial grade”. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now and have had no issues. It does rock a bit if you don't put weight on the pegs and swing a lot doing pull ups but it doesn’t feel unsafe. *A word about the safety arms: I read reviews where people complained about them being slightly angled back and I have to mention that this is not by accident and if you use the equipment properly you shouldn’t be leaving the bar on them unless you fail a lift. You should be able to properly re-rack the weight and if you do fail a lift with 400-500lbs on the bar you are going to want that to roll back slightly to prevent the rack from toppling over you. If you are benching and the arms allow the bar to roll into your face then you are not positioned properly and neither are the arms. Hope this helps.

worth the money
I agonized over this purchase. I own the ironmaster superbench and Quick-Lock dumbbells with numerous attachments, but wanted a squat rack or power rack with olympic weights and barbell now that I have more room in my home gym. I looked at Titan and rogue half-racks, and they are certainly solid and well-crafted pieces of equipment, but honestly, I am probably not ever going to need more weight for benching than the 300lbs I have in the set I purchased, and squatting 300 is probably sufficient for me at this point in life. I wanted something that would not take up too much space, would be solid, and that would allow me to do pull-ups and/or hanging knee-raises. This fit the bill. It is very solid, does not shake when I do pull-ups and knee-raises, and handles my regular workouts just fine. I heartily recommend this. The landmine attachment is a plus, but should not be the reason one purchases this (since you can find landmine attachments for approx. $35). The reason i took one star away is the weigh plate holders: they are inconveniently set to face the back, and can only sit in the bottom position; that is, they are not adjustable, and if you place the rack close to a wall (as I have to), then it is difficult to get the heavier weights off the arms. I suppose the manufacturer did not want to put standard weight plate holders in the package as this would take up spaces for the j-hooks or spotter arms, and might interfere with movement during lifts, but let's face it: most people find the places comfortable for them, and then leave the spotter arms set, and the j-hooks typically sit in one or two positions (i.e., bench and squat), so it wouldn't really be a problem and the convenience of having the weights on the side for loading would be much better. Still, overall, a great product and I would recommend for anyone not ready to drop $400-$800 for a half-rack, but still wants something that can handle a good bit of weight and has great stability. Great addition to my home gym!

This Squat Rack is very well built and sturdy. (Updated)
I was skeptical about this squat rack. I bought it when it was on sale $175.00. I wasn't expecting much from it. The box it was shipped in was well designed. No damage to the outside of the box. Inside of the box a few of the smaller boxed components were shuffled a little but nothing damaged. Once I started taking the metal pieces out of the shipping box....my first impressions was the parts were very sturdy. Putting the squat rack together was a breeze. The instructions were very easy to follow and simple enough for it to be a one person job. Once put together, the squat rack feels very, very sturdy and stabled. I have been using it for bench press, squats, good mornings, rack pulls, over head presses, etc. Before making the purchase I read some of the reviews. There were a couple complaining about the support safety arms being on a angle. That was not my case. If they are on an angle, it must be really small because I do not see it. I purchased this rack when it was on sale at $175.00. The price is back up to normal pricing at $250.00. Even at that price, this rack is well worth it. I hope these few words helped someone. **Update** Landmine attachment is somewhat useless. I have been using this rack every day for about a week and a half (fully testing it). I have found the first flaw; the landmine attachment. Because it does not fully attach to the rack, the attachment wants to roll to one side or the other. Once you start the movement/exercise, the bar stays in place just fine. However, once you are finished with your workout set, the landmine attachment rolls to one of its sides. Then, before you start your next set, you have to adjust it and hope that it does not roll by the time you get to the end of the bar (the section you grab). Even with the landmine attachment being somewhat useless or difficult to use, I stand by my opinion on my original post. Even at the regular price of $250.00 is well worth it. I like it so much that I went ahead and ordered the Fitness Reality 2000 Super Max XL adjustable bench. Hopefully the bench will be as well built as this rack.

Good value for home gym.
This rack fit the bill for me with the small footprint and the right height for my lower than normal ceiling garage. It was relatively easy to assemble and took about an hour or so including unboxing, assembly and clean up. It feels sturdy enough to do pull ups on without any weights on the pegs but I put my 45’s on there for added stability. I don’t think kipping motions would be recommended though as it’s a little low for that. Strict movements are fine and probably strict muscle ups would be fine but again it is a bit low. One of the plastic feet did break a bit during assembly but it isn’t really of any consequence for stability as it’s just a ~ 1 inch piece of plastic that sits on the bottom. Enough was left to not unbalance the structure. Instructions were easy to follow. The other selling point for me was the landmine attachment which is an added value in my opinion. All in all it’s worth the money and you are getting a good deal for a good product.

Very happy with this rack.
I have been using this rack almost daily in my home gym. The pull-up bar, landmine attachment, and plate holders are great extras included in the package. It is tight and solid as a rock. I have purchased 3rd party dip attachments and they fit like they were part of the whole - an added plus is you can adjust the height of the dip bars and also do plank pull-ups. The safety bars work well and have the necessary angle to roll the bar back to the stops instead of allowing the bar to roll forward and possibly topple the rack. I have also used the safety bars to do rack pulls. I use resistance bands on the pull-up cross-member to simulate tricep cable pulldowns with both a rope handle and short bar. I also use the pull-up cross-member, resistance bands and a wide bar for lat pulldowns. All in all a versatile and lasting investment. Wait! There's more! I just figured out that I can set a barbell low on the back of the rack and brace my ankles against the lower cross-member and do sissy squats! Anyhoo, like I said, I'm very happy with this rack.

Gets the job done
This squat rack wasn't very complicated to build, and I was pleasantly surprised with how sturdy it feels. I'm not strong enough to be using weights that really pushes this rack to its limits, but for my needs it's been really great. I've been using it consistently for a few weeks now and it's held up really nicely. The safety bars are really why I bought this product. I needed something to hold the bar a certain height for rack pulls or bent over rows. Overall, it's a squat rack and it has everything you need. I haven't used the peripherals on the bottom yet to hold the bar for rows but I can tell they're well made just like the rest of the rack. If you're looking for a good squat rack that's affordable with a pretty small footprint this is the one. Highly recommend and would purchase again.
