Playpens do still exist! This is a wonderful product, roomy, lightweight, portable and easy to set up. It is exactly what I needed for my 9 month old granddaughter. It is sturdy, and she cannot escape. The only suggestion I have is if you intend to allow a child to nap, or be comfortable should they fall asleep - would be to purchase an additional pad. The attached pad that is built in is pretty thin. Ok for playtime, but I wanted something a little more cushioning. Overall VERY happy with my purchase.

I was a little hesitant in purchasing this because I thought for the price point it was going to be flimsy but I needed something that was easy to put together for a road trip with our 18 month old son. My husband and I absolutely love this playpen and our whole extended family loved it too. We ended up using it for not only a travel crib, but to bring to the different family member's homes to make sure our son had a safe place to play since it is Christmas and we didn't want him getting into the Christmas tree decorations. It sets up and breaks down in seconds and is incredibly sturdy. Our son loves running back and forth into the sides of the playpen and it barely budges! I also love how it comes with a carrying case and is so compact when folded. One of the best purchases we have made so far as new parents.

This is the best playpen I've ever seen. The sides are tall, soft, and see through. I laid a crocheted blanket in the bottom when we was little, and it became a safe place to play while I worked in the kitchen and laundry room. Since he grew up in it, he's still happy to play there at eleven months when I need to be doing something else. I haven't needed to wash it yet, but it appears that the mesh can come off and go into the washing machine. My favorite part might be how it assembles. It was pretty tight to lock into place at first, but now that I have the hang of lifting while backing up to click it into the open position, I freely fold it in a standing position (with the toys still inside) to open up more space when it isn't in use. As a grandma, whose home is only pseudo child safe, I've found that the playpen eliminate a lot of headaches!

I’m shocked at the one review. So, I made sure to come back and write one. This is the best playpen we’ve had in 2 years. My toddler is right at 30”. The pack and play we have is a babytrend that’s the standard 23” high from the mat bottom to the top of the rail. This is standard in ALL PACK AND PLAYS. Why do playyard makers hate tall babies? 😂 Seriously, I researched every playyard on google, bing, DuckDuckGo and yahoo. I even looked into amazonUK. It’s rare to find any sturdy dependable playyard that will actually secure a child over 30”. Last week I saw my toddler hiking her leg over the top and she was so close to falling out. I ran in to stop her, my search began. Now, my review. This playyard is 52” in diameter, the largest practical portable space I could find. The bottom yard mat is thinner than a pack and play, but it sits directly on the floor. It’s like a quality tent bottom. I sit mine on carpet. I’d recommend a non skid rug for hard floors. There’s no way to fasten it down like a tent, but on carpet, there’s no need. It’s a substantial weight and compares to a pack and play in this regard. With my toddler at 30” to the top of her head, the top rails are they say at 31.5”, more like 32” when I measured mine set up. She can’t get her arms over, and the mesh is thick and resilient. My toddler is a bruiser🤣💜 She Ganga on the sides and dances, slides with her belly down the mesh when she’s playing and this thing is sturdy. She’s tried to hike her leg up, but hits the middle of the mesh and her foot slides down. This thing takes a beating, not one complaint here. Also, the tent material on the bottom seems to be waterproof. She fell asleep on her side and had a blowout in her diaper. The bottom material of the pen got stained. I got a microfiber cloth with dawn dish soap and it disappeared. It didn’t go through to my carpet. The one time I didn’t have to get out my carpet cleaner. I love this this thing. The rails snap in place easily. It breaks down easily. It smells like tent the first 24-48 hours. I suggest setting it up on a porch or patio for a day to let it air out. That’s all I have!

wish i knew about this kind of item with my first baby! i researched many different playpens before i settled on this one and i’m glad i did. it is very convenient, compact, sturdy, light, and easy to put up and take down. i also bought the sun shade that is sold separately since we will be using this at the beach, the park, and the backyard, and it gets very hot where we live so it was a must have. i also love that it has a zippered door— both my 3 yr old and i are each able to easily go in and out that way to have a little playtime with baby and we all three can also fit in there relatively comfortably. we’ve only had it for about a week or so and have it set up in our living room, but we have also taken it with us for a visit to the grandparents house and have also used it in the backyard. it’s not heavy by any means and the bag with strap that is included seems to be good quality. the only con i see so far is that i wish the bottom was thicker since it is just a tent material, but it isn’t a deal breaker for me. i didn’t opt to buy a separate hexagonal mattress. in our house i have the playpen sitting on top of a thick play mat, which we already have set up for our older child since we have hard floors. i used a thick blanket underneath at the grandparents house since it has hardwood floors, and outside on the grass i just put an outdoor mat underneath it for a little extra cushion. technically the hexagonal mattresses are not supposed to be used inside the playpen (i see them marketed that way in listings), only underneath it, due to suffocation risk (there’s also a warning label on the inside of the play pen). we haven’t used the sun shade yet but i have tried putting it on just to see how it fits together and it’s very easy to put on. overall, i highly recommend this playpen!

When they say easy to set up and take down, they mean it. I’m 66 and have arthritis and I can set this sucker up in the blink of an eye! Stores in one of my basic living room cabinets. But big enough that I can sit in it with my grandson. A winner!

This playpen is a life saver! My toddler doesn’t mind being in it 90%of the time. I put her favorite toys that considered safe and things that cannot make her choke if she tries to put it in her mouth. It’s so easily to open and close and move around. The floor is 100% water proof. Easy to clean up. I can see her clearly all around since all sides are made of maze material that stretch. There is a zipper panel for entrance so you don’t have to pick her up from the playpen. My toddler is almost 2 and pretty heavy.LOL She can’t climb out since the wall is pretty tall! This is one of the best investment to keep your toddler safe!!! Worth every penny I spent on it! Put your toddler in there when you need a little time to do stuff around the house knowing she’s safe in there!! Love it!!

Amazing. This thing is perfect for traveling. My 9 month old started crawling a few weeks ago and this thing is great to bring on our weekend getaways where the houses aren't childproofed. Sturdy and visibility is great for us and her. Wish they had a bigger version for the house.

Bought this playpen for my 7 month baby. Love the color, material and design of this product. The quality is very good and you do not have to worry about any sharp edges. I can easily shift it from room to room with the toys inside. It has enough space to fit an adult so I can go in and out to play with my lo. The zip door comes in handy during cleaning. However, the bottom is quite thin and would suggest putting a mat underneath for some cushion protection. Overall, this is an excellent product and I highly recommend this!
