A perfect fit for my 2001 Tacoma 2.7 L 3RZ-FE. I suddenly had a 0402 code, and many mechanics suggest this part as it is a common failure on older Tacomas. They were right. This part cured my 0402 code issue. It's tough to replace since it is deep under the intake manifold, but I was able to squeeze my hand and wrist in deep enough to make the swap after some initial frustration. This part does fit exactly as the OEM part. I added several photos of the part because I had a hard time finding any photos which showed that it had the required screw hole. I thought better photos would help the next guy be more confident with buying it.

THIS INSTEAD OF EGR FIXED!
So far so good!! Fixed the problem and the code that kept reading EGR valve after I had fixed it!

I recently bought a 1997 Tacoma with 78k miles on it. I love it, men want it and are surprised it’s a woman’s truck lol. I had a p0402 code. Replaced the Egr modulator and the light came back on a few days later. Pulled the valve (prior owner replaced a couple years ago) and it barely had carbon but cleaned it anyway and the light came back on a few days later. Did some research a saw this part replacement could resolve the issue. This part was put on over a week now and so far so good. The light has not came back on 🤞🏻

Vacum leaks suck, but with good parts comes good results.
A bit tricky to replace but combined with new lines fixed my vacum leak.

Perfect fit for my 04 Tacoma
The part was a perfect fit, the engine design by Toyota was the challenge. It would really help to have smaller hands to do this job quicker. Solved the check engine light right away.
