"Odor-free" isn't exactly accurate...
Here in the information from the company it states "simulated pheromones that are odor-free." Maybe it's just the bottle I was sent, but mine smells exactly like lemon pledge! I have sprayed this around the main living areas of the house where we have the most issues & then watched our girl sniff the air, go right to the spots and start to hit them lime she's panicked. I have been using another product to clean up first & that has helped a lot, but I have much more cleaning that I can't get to until I get the problem under control. If anything, this product made the problems worse. If I spray one location, she might not come over and mess it up again, but there's no guarantee. If it worked or works for you, I am a little envious. I'm waiting on my 3rd product to arrive by Tuesday & praying it helps me get my home back.

Meh
It works ok for my cat who decided she needed to pee by our front door. The spray doesn't have a bad odor, it just seemed like it didn't work and she was going anyway...even when we cleaned and sprayed. I wouldn't buy it again I don't think.

Part of an Arsenal to Eliminate Cat Spraying
This GREAT smelling product is ONE of MANY methods I use to stop or reduce my cat urinating outside of the litter box. Often there are no easy answers or simple solutions. She has had this problem since I brought her home at 3mos.(now 6 mos.) & though it wasn't daily, I wasn't going to put up with a pee smelling house. Agatha is spayed, has had zero issues w/my welcoming small dog, has no other cats to compete with, lives in a clean house, has lots of toys, good foods, scratch pads, places to nap,has always been an indoor kitty and is an easygoing Ragdoll. I've had urine and stool tests to eliminate any medical issues. She is a happy, constantly purring kitten, poos & wees in her always-clean litter box and gets loads of love and attention from her family. So WHY does she wee on the furniture & beds? I've come to the conclusion it's separation anxiety when I leave to go shopping, etc. though I am retired so I am mostly at home. I purchased Angry Orange products for cleaning and eliminating odors, Feliway spray for the beds, Scat Mats to put on vulnerable areas when I leave for an extended time,I purchased a UV flashlight and use daily to possibly find any urine spots, I've shampooed area rugs, took away throw rugs, give her a 2.5 mg. of a generic prozac daily and spray Pet Organics NO MARK on our furniture cushions 2ice a day. You get a LOT for the money and it doesn't seem to hurt our leather sofas and chair. Because the cushions are leather and there can be urine runoff to the fabric on the undersides and lower sides of the cushions, I also have stuffed matching colored towels between cushions to absorb any urine. All this seems to work well and I have had only ONE wee incident in the last month, and this was before I got Agatha on her tranquilizer. By the way, my pharmacist said people using tranquilizers on their pets is not a rare occurance! The generic is very inexpensive. Also, PLEASE do not physically punish your naughty pet when they have accidents. This COMPOUNDS the problem. Instead, try to reward your pet when they use good bathroom behaviour. My kitty gets a 'Greenies for Cats' treat when I catch her using her box and I say "good girl" and pet her immediately afterwards. Lastly, fyi, I have never before had this kind of problem with a pet. It takes time to figure what works for YOUR situation and YOUR pet. Good luck to you with your pet(s)!

Effective
This is a good product, seems to be effective without bothering the cats. I am using it on carpet, only refresh every few weeks. Have not noticed residue or buildup.

Really does work
This stuff really does work... just keep in mind it's not the "be all end all" solution. We have a house full of rescue cats, and I can tell you with absolute certainty that this stuff has reduced pee issues dramatically. I spray spots every day, as directed... I use Natures Miracle to clean the messes, and once that dries, mist this in the spot. You have to be patient, and use it religiously, but it does make a difference... there are some spots that were CONSTANT pee issue spots... and now there's literally never any pee there. Like i said though, it's not the 100% solution... I think really depends on why your cat is peeing in that spot. Pee issues because a cat is mad at another cat, or mad at us humans for letting the food run out... I don't think this will ever stop those kinds of things. Otherwise though it's been a Godsend for me. I use this in conjunction with another tactic... I got some of those recordable motion activated room entry alarms. If I have a spot that even No Mark won't fix, I put one of those motion alarms there with a stern warning not to pee in that spot. Totally works!

Doesn't work but smells great
My cat was peeing on a front door mat. I followed the directions and freshly laundered the mat so it had no odor and no stain. Used the spray three times a day and the cat immediately peed in the same spot. I called the manufacturer and he said it's just not going to work on my cat and I should return it. I would have given it one star, but the price is reasonable if it works for your cat and it smells good. Also, it does not leave a sticky residue.

It works
I do not understand how this has under 4 stars, I have 2 males that I had rescued a few weeks apart from each other, within a few days they started to spray in my house. I would find little marks on my walls or on the front of my dryer ect. The smell was awful and I couldn't keep just chasing them around with a rag and cleaning agents, I seen this on Amazon and seen the lower stars but it was affordable enough to try, IT WORKED, like actually worked, I sprayed the spots they would spray 2 times a day, the first day I noticed a big drop and day by day until they just stopped its been than 2 weeks since i bought this and they are not spraying in my house anymore. Is this a permanent fix? I'm not sure...but I know that as of now for the last week and a half they have not once sprayed in my house.

Not working
Im so disappointed, it didn’t work at all! I did use it and my cat didn’t react to it or stay away from the furniture… Don’t buy

Seems to work well
I love my cats but dammit they have a destroyed a lot of furniture! I have tried some anti-scratch sprays before but they smelled so bad I couldn’t take it. This one smells like herbs/essential oils/citronella so not altogether unpleasant but definitely strong/ noticeable. The instructions on the back of the bottle are accurate… You only need to spray your furniture a few days in a row to get them out of the habit of scratching and then reapply as needed when you notice they start getting interested again. We just bought some new furniture and I sprayed everything right from the beginning so now they don’t seem to associate it with scratching at all. They don’t stay away from the furniture altogether so you don’t have to worry about them not having a place to sleep ;) but they seem to just not need to scratch it. Both my cats still lay with me on the new couch and sleep on our new chair but they are not using it as a scratching post. I would totally recommend trying this.

Its working where others failed.
Saw this had mediocre reviews so I thought I'd take a chance. I have tried quite a few other enzyme sprays, citrus sprays, feliway, but the bad cat behavior continued. I can clean litters daily but it doesn't matter. I have 15 cats, and some just seem to be perks. All are spayed and neutered aside from 3 older kittens that go in next week. All my cats get along so I don't believe its anger marking. I was fostering cats recently, so that did seem to cause an increase though. Anyways, I have one female who likes too pee in my laundry room, bathroom and mud room. I have one male who likes to spray doors and sometime other items. and laundry baskets. I have another boy who likes to pee on weird things... think like a green garbage bag filled with clothes packed up for donation. So far, 3 days in, no pee or spray marks. I have been diligent about spraying the areas daily. I even had my bathroom door closed for a couple weeks to keep the cats out, but after spraying its been ok. Smells refreshing, lemon grass and citrus. My only complaint is there is only 1 size, and it took more than my usual 2-3 prime delivery days to get to me

Didn't stop our cat
We purchased this after our cat decided to make our brand-new couch her scratching post. The spray has great coverage, but the smell is potent and did not stop our cat from destroying our couch. It also left a sticky residue on the floor surrounding the couch.
