This coffee tastes great, it is the perfect strength and excellent quality.

This arrived on 1st June in a good resealable bag and with a roasting data of 28th May. Coffee smells wonderful with a lovely chocolatey tones and is clearly really freshly roasted (as the roasting date would imply) I really like the rich taste, though that's a personal thing obviously; it's got a decent caffeine 'kick' but not as strong as other coffee's I've tasted e.g. Taylor's High Voltage (for comparison). I do like the coffee and may buy again - but I'm also thinking of buying my own roaster so might not need to.

Enjoyable coffee. Definitely notice the flavour profile and would happyily make a cup for a guest. However it is significantly more expensive than "cheap" brands so take that into account!

I recently bought a fancy new espresso machine and have been buying beans from "artisan" roasters. While they were always good, they were super expensive, so I thought I'd search for a better value alternative on Amazon. That's when I came across these beans, and I have to say I have been really impressed. The strong dark roasted flavours are balanced perfectly with little bursts of fruit. I look forward to my perfect americano every morning!

Don’t get me wrong, there are some reviews reporting good roasting dates on their orders, that wasn’t the case for me. My coffee was freshly roasted in October. Given that it’s January, these beans are definitely stale. That said, once I’d adjusted the extraction ratio, I was able to get a half decent cup of coffee from the beans I was sent. Obviously, given the age of the beans themselves, I’m not getting the more complex flavour notes that I would expect, but I am getting a coffee that is acceptable. Would I buy these again, possibly directly from the vendor to ensure I got a fresh roasted date delivered. Would I buy through Amazon again? Not u less they guarantee delivery of beans that were roasted within 2 weeks.

I am currently drinking this delicious coffee as I’m writing this review. I tasted Daybreak and the Colombian Rich Roast. I can honestly say Rounton Coffee Roast offer the best beans I’ve tried in the UK!

It screams quality. Very smooth taste, with a dark chocolate flavour. It won’t be for the average ‘cup a Joe’ lover, but it can only receive a 5.
