Very good strap and monitor works great when on WATT BIKE

Very straightforward and easy to set up and use with online app, no connectivity issues so far, which I’d read sometimes happened. Comfortable - but not used in fitness training, only for short time each day for measuring HRV. Accurate as far as I can tell. Not had long enough to determine battery life but fine after one month.

I bought this to support zone 2 running. I went for a small strap. It is easy to put on, comfortable and stays in position. I paired the HRM successfully with my Garmin Watch. After starting to run the HRM seems to present accurate readings, with a steady increase in heart rate, however after about 800m the readings drop back down until about 1.5 - 2km when they shoot back up and thereafter are consistent and reliable. I do wet the straps and my chest and have moved the monitor slightly to the left of centre, but still only once do I believe I have had an entire run be accurate. A little disappointing, however over longer distances it works fine and I am able to track zone 2.

I've been using HRMs for 20+ years, mostly Garmin devices. I've had 2 Polar HRMs in this period and, I don't know if it's just me, but they seem extremely unreliable versus other brands. Firstly, my old s410 used to frequently show the heart rate as 50% of the actual value. Now, my H9 keeps recording huge troughs and peaks in HR that are fictitious. This is frustrating as I track several fitness metrics that rely on accurate HR data. For the record, I'm fastidious about moistening and cleaning the strap, and adjusting the strap tightness. I've reached out to Polar support and sent evidence of the H9 issue and I'm awaiting their response. If the issue is satisfactorily resolved I'll update this review. At this point though, I cannot recommend this product and wouldn't buy any other Polar product. Update 27th October 2025: Polar Support have been very slow. I've had to chase them twice so far via web chat. They eventually sent me a set of steps to follow, but it has made no difference. Have escalated back to Polar and am expecting to get a response within 48 hours. We'll see.

Great HR strap. Works well with Samsung phone and appa like Nike run etc.

It was for my Grandson, he is very pleased with it.

Stopped working entirely after 3 months. Support from Polar atrocious. Very difficult to contact them at all. Sent me an email telling me how to reset (did all the resets and restarts and new battery to no avail). Said to reply to the email if still not working. Have done this and now complete silence. Avoid it if you value good support.

Working amazing. Can connect with Runna, Strava and also XOSS you can track your runs, your cycling everything and check whether your aerobic base is improving or not

I love this thing. Really good quality and comfy. I wear it almost every time I do an activity that requires some kind of energy like the gym of course but also yard work, any sports... I don'T think it is waterproof tho but for terrestrial activities it is a must!

Dans mon cas, cette ceinture cardio est utilisée pour fonctionner avec l'application polar flow. Attention, le XS et S sont vraiment petits.

Die Messung des Herzfrequenzsensors ist sehr genau und deckt sich ziemlich mit meiner Pixel Watch. Der Sensor und Gurt stören nicht bei m Training und schränken mich nicht ein. Einzig die Ersteinrichtung hat mich etwas Zeit gekostet, da in der beigefügten Anleitung stand, man solle sich die Polar Flow App laden, die das Gerät aber nicht erkannt hat. Im Internet auf der Polar Seite selbst, wurde dann die App Polar Beat genannt, welche den Sensor gleich gefunden hat. Wichtig hierbei ist auch, das der Sensor nicht über die Bluetooth-Einstellungen des Smartphones hinzugefügt werden darf, sondern zuerst über die App eingebunden werden muss. Danach wird sie auch unter den Bluetooth-Geräten im Smartphone auftauchen. Andersherum funktioniert es hier nicht. Ansonsten bin ich jetzt erstmal sehr zufrieden und werde den Sensor noch bei weiteren sportlichen Aktivitäten testen.
