Excellent fix for Ring floodlight cam
I moved into a new house that already had the ring floodlight cam. Unfortunately the previous lens had IR damage, and its image was completely blurry and pink. It was basically useless. As other reviews have stated, Ring does not sell a replacement lens. I replaced the original lens with this one, and the image is crisp and perfectly clear now. I get a full screen image as well. Removing the old lens was not too tricky. I already had nail extractor drill bits. I first drilled a hole in the old lens, and kept trying different reverse drill bits. The smaller sizes wouldn’t latch on, so I kept moving up in sizes. On my third try, the old lens came out. Like others have stated, this lens is slightly longer, so you just have to screw it in till the image is in focus. Then just apply silicone glue on the outer periphery. Replacing the floodlight cam is $200+. This lens provided a $10 fix.

Ring Floodlight Cam fix
Same as some of the others, I used this lens to fix a ring floodlight cam. I tried two or three different lenses. The only downside of this one at least on my camera is I can’t screw it in all the way or it goes blurry so I can only screw it in about halfway so I just need to seal around that lens to keep the water out. I did notice that every lens I bought off Amazon had deeper threads or the thread section was longer than the factory one which is probably why I can’t screw it in all the way. But that’s much better than dealing with Ring and getting a new camera.

Surprise it fits Ring floodlight & works!
As pictured lens Works great In Ring’s floodlight pro camera! You have to screw lens in camera only until you get a good focus picture. I used a small drop of medium “Thread lock” to hole lens in focus position! Because it can easily screws in and out of focus!

Great Product! Easy to install
WOW!!! I was a little skeptical at first but this easy fix is great! The first picture shows what the old lens was providing on my ring spotlight camera, Gen 1. The camera is about 8 years old, on a south facing wall, so it took quite a beating from the sun.The second picture is what this new lens provides after replacement. It looks like the first lens was a wide angle so I might try that type of lens to see what the image looks like.Great product. Easy to install. The old lens was so deteriorated that I was able to remove it with just finger pressure. I did not need to drill it out as others described. Once the new lens is in you do need to focus it then glue it down so it stays in focus.

Works on Ring floodlight camera.
I read reviews that said this lens will work as a replacement for the ring floodlight camera. It does. Though not an exact replacement, I cut a gasket out of a sheet of cork I bought from Ace hardware and that made for a good seal at the right focal point.

Excellent Ring Floodlight Replacement Lens
My 3+ year old Ring Floodlight camera lens suddenly became cloudy and basically unusable. Instead of buying a new one for around $200 I rolled the dice and bought this one. After removing the old one I screwed this one in and watched the camera on my phone to get a sharp focus. After getting it focused properly I sealed the outer edge with a small bead of silicone to prevent moisture intrusion. Job done in an easy 15 minutes with an excellent picture from the camera again. Highly recommended.

Best fix ever
After 4 yrs, lens became hazy. Tried everything to clear, but no luck. Checked the internet for a fix and got some recommendations . Otherwise, it was 180.00 for a new one. I bought this lens, uninstalled the old one (watched a video), installed the new one. It took a total of 10 minutes. Picture super clear. Extremely satisfying for a 9 dollar fix. Not sure of how long it will last, but if I get a year, it will still be well worth it.
