What is the rotation mechanism?

We weld a "can" that sits on a post that has anti seize lubricant that allows the pin to spin.

How does this install? My chimney is 16” x 16” chimney block with a 9”x9” Terracotta liner.

The cap is held by 4 bolts, one on each side. We get strong winds in our area, up to 70 mph, yet it says on and works so well! It is expensive, but well made! It was worth every penny as it made the chimney function much better and reduced the back smoke.

I have a brick chimney that is 18x18 inches at the outside measurement, will this fit?

Wish I could've had a video of it. But I saw with my own eyes. This wind directional chimney cap is proprietary when you have a steep roof pitch or even not. It helps direct cold air and high winds from entering into your house thru the chimney. Cold air is heavier than hot air. So it really works.
