Good for high handicappers with a basic understanding of the golf swing.
Bought this 2 years ago almost to the day and it did help me get out of bunkers easier but could not use it anywhere else to save my life. I finally took it out of my bag after a few months and put it in my vast collection of unused gimmicky clubs. Fast forward to last week when I wondered if my swing had improved enough for me to figure out how to use it properly and boy am I glad I did. I’m still not good but I am better at shifting pressure and using my body better and now after just a few practice sessions and one round this is my favorite club from 50yds and in. I don’t think it’s designed to be opened up because of the fat sole but I open it slightly and hit high soft landing shots consistently -almost impossible to chunk it. For some very short shots I actually intentionally hit it a little fat with good results! So glad I decided to try this club again.

Good club
Took a bit if time to teach my brain to do a full swing. But now works great!

Not a cure all, but better than most wedges
This wedge does what it is advertised to do. It reduces the chance of chunking shots from tight lies or leaving the ball in bunkers. But, it isn't a miracle club. You won't hit perfect shots all the time. The great thing about this club is that I don't manipulate it at all. I set up to it the same as I do with all of my other irons in the bag. The wide some allows the club to glide on the turf on tight lies and not dig on sand bunker shots. I don't ope the face at all. I square the club and just swing. Getting out of the bunker requires you to swing a three quarter o full swing. I made the mistake thinking that I could take a half shot because I was afraid to take a full swing with a square club face. Don't be afraid. Swing your full swing with the club face square and the ball will come out like it would if you opened up a traditional blade wedge. Same with chips. Set up square and swing through. I thought the feel of the club was going to be clunky , but it actually feels and sounds ok. This wedge is hot too. Normally I hit a 60 degree about 75 yards. I can hit this wedge about 90 yards. For the price it's a great wedge if you are looking for something more forgiving, easier to hit from bunkers and tight lies, and provides consistency within your setup.

It works for me!
As someone who cant get out of a bunker this club has been a life saver. Nicely weighted, swing is perfect, easy to use and the price is right.

It Works
I've only had this wedge for a couple of days and I took it to the club and practiced with it. I tried swinging kind of easy to see what would happen and I found that I bladed more shots swinging easy then if I took a full swing at it. If you take a full swing and set it up in the middle of your stance like a normal iron shot you can't miss. It pops the ball straight up goes about 20 to 30 yards and comes down softly. The key is to take a full swing and just understand how far it'll go for you with that full swing. Hard to beat for $39. Here is a follow up after using it on the course thru several rounds. As I said you can't baby or try to get fancy with this wedge. You have to take a full swing and by that I mean full swing and how hard you want and far you want to hit it. Great for those shot's over a bunker to the green with that full but medium speed swing and the harder you hit it the higher it goes. Have had several playing partners use it during their rounds and all 3 ordered the club and love it. Best $39.00 I have ever spent on golf. PERIOD!!!

Simplifies bunker play
I saw a YouTube advertisement about a similar club to this Orlimar fat soul wedge and decided that I would give them a try, purchasing both the 64° and the 60° wedges. I have to say that using this club in a bunker is so much easier and less stressful. You don't change your stance from how you typically hit balls off the fairway to hit this out of the bunker. Regular bunker play requires twisting the club and opening up the face, opening up your stance and squatting down, and changing your swing, all alterations that can go horribly wrong quickly. This club has proven to do exactly what they say. It does it without changing my swing and stance in the bunker at all. Give it a try. Especially at this price, it's a no-brainer.

My first 60 degree club
I'm a pretty average golfer and I had some great shots with this club. Pitching and chipping felt good. Fun club and for the price it's definitely a great buy.

Para el bunker
Fantástico para las salidas de bunker. Con un swing de put se eleva fantásticamente. Me encanta

A good wedge for the price
I’ve found this club much more forgiving than the regular shaped lob wedge which I had been hacking at the ball with. I get now get under the ball most of the time without digging a hole, and it often lands in the vicinity of where I want it to. All in all not a bad purchase.
