Boat Portlight Bug Screen, Magnetic Mosquito Net for Boat Windows, Large

I LOVE THESE. I bought both the large and small size and they keep out mosquitoes and no-see-ums. Easy to install and well constructed. Just remember to remove them when you are under way.

Took our boat out once and lost the screen

Purchased a few of these for our main cabin windows. The screens themselves are awesome. The suction cups that stick to the windows can come unstuck by the morning so we would prefer to use the the toggles just to be safe. However, the toggles are not long enough to secure to our windows based on design so we will have to find an alternate solution to secure them. I would recommend and would get them again (if ever needed replacements). These are great!!

These are great. I needed replacement screens for my Lewmar port lites. These fit beautifully and are very effective. there is one flaw. The adhesive on the metal for the magnetic attachments on the screens doesn’t adhere for extended periods and can be lost. So I have to resort to the supplied suction cups for a couple of applications. I have two of the larger screens and 8 of the smaller units. They stow very nicely and deploy earlier than the original Lewmar screens that wouldn’t stay put without damage. I like this product.

These are the perfect solution for my sailboat windows. They are super easy to set up and have multiple options for doing so. I’ll definitely be sharing this genius product with all my fellow sailors.

Consente di tenere aperti gli oblò laterali della tuga per tenere arieggiato e fresco, bloccando zanzare, mosche e vespe. Facile da applicare e pratico da stivare in poco posto. Se non vuoi incollare i magneti agli oblò, puoi usare le ventose, avendo cura di sgrassare oblò e ventose prima. Comunque stanno in posizione anche senza ventose essendo più ampi dei miei oblò.

Nach 14 Monaten im Einsatz muss ich feststellen, dass der Federstahldraht der den Rahmen bildet durchgerostet ist. Bei einem Boots Teil ist nicht rostfreies Material ein nogo!

Conceptually a great product and when initially fitted they worked very well, however after only 6 months regular use the wires in multiple screens have rusted and broken, making the screens useless. This is a marine product, surely using wire which rusts almost instantly in contact with a salt water environment was a bit of an oversight…. Such as shame as the idea is fabulous.
