Excellent charcoal, ready in no time at all and no spitting or smoke. It's definitely best suited to open cooking where the coals can be shuffled, but can be used for high heat lid on cooking. It does produce a lot of ash, so low and slow aren't really suited to this. The ash produced creates an insulative layer on the coal and without disturbance it effectively smothers the coal and it stops burning.This coal is ideal for adding to a cooling bbq without spoiling the food flavour.My go to coal!

Exactly as advertised. Bag was a lot bigger than i expected. Good range of sized lumps. Lit very quickly and then settled down to burn with a good temperature and gave nice even heat. I would say it’s the best charcoal I’ve ever used. Will definitely buy again.

Good quality lumpwood charcoal, as in it burns really well creating a lot of heat very quickly. Only downside is the pieces are quite light and burn up way too quickly. So be mindful when bbqing for a crowd of people as you will use up a large amount of the bag in one go.

We’ve tried so many different lump wood charcoals for our Big Green Egg and this is the best. Doesn’t smoke, doesn’t impart any awful chemical flavour and lights easily - plus, it’s reasonably priced. Always disappointed when it’s out of stock and we try something else - nothing else comes close.

This is a great product to use. It lights really easy & is up to temperature within a few minutes. I have used this a few times, The temperature from this charcoal is outstanding. I only use it outside but there is very little smoke so clean burning.

First bag i received was great, good size pieces that burned well with plenty of heat on a kamado. this order came in 3 small bags, pieces were smaller and lighter with a lot of tiny bits at the bottom of the bag and didn’t burn so well, had to have more airflow to keep temperature up resulting in complete burnout very early. still a good clean burn but not happy with the density.

Great charcoal. Can't recommend enough. Easy to light and came quickly. Nice smell too.

Not restraunt grade charcol. Very light wood, not dense at all and burns very quickly.Only good for cooking steak at high heat, quickly loses heat and disintegrates. Worst type I have ever used. avoid!

Die Holzkohle ist wirklich der Hammer und mit Abstand die Beste, die ich bisher benutzt habe. Die Kohle brennt sehr heiß (top für Steaks, sind spitze geworden) aber auch sehr lange. Zu teurere Kohle aus dem Baumarkt kein Vergleich! Ich werde diese jetzt immer bestellen und freuen mich auf die Grillsaison!Klare Kaufempfehlung!!!
