Proctor Silex 74311 Easy Slice Electric Knife, White

It cut the first slice of roast like a charm and I was so happy. On the second slice, it heated up and smoke was billowing from the handle like it was on fire, then it stalled. Now it rests in peace. Just one slice cut for Rs. 2133. Don't buy if you're in India !!!! I can't even seek replacement or refund because I have thrown away the packaging. What a loss!!!

The product was manufactured to suit USA's electric voltage requirement whereas in India we need equipment to conform to 220 Volts input volt. Nowhere the input voltage was mentioned in the product description while ordering online.

I use it to cut my homemade bread, it's great! So cheap too can't go wrong. I'd love to not have to keep my finger on the on button though, that is the only thing I feel uncomfortable while using. I don't think my wrist could take a long time using it but for a loaf of thick bread that's fine.

Excelente cuchillo a un súper precio. El tiempo de entrega fue como me dijeron. Mi esposo fue el que uso el cuchillo para la cena de Navidad y quedó muy satisfecho por su corte afilado en carnes. Como siempre Amazon cumplió mis expectativas como consumidora.

I did not buy to cut meat. I bought this to cut foam for crafting things and it works so well. I’m sure it’d cut meat well as well but that’s not what I needed it for. It’s easy to use and fit my needs perfectly. I would buy it again but I haven’t had a need for a new one since this one is still working. Because I was cutting foam I did have to pull the blades or and clean it but that’s normal.

Love it! I have always had trouble cutting fresh baked bread till now. I also like cutting roast beef and pork with it. Nice and sharp for now after using it for 3 weeks. This knife is exactly what I wanted. A cordless model may be my next investment, as it would be great to take along when camping or having a picnic.
