Having experienced the predecessor of the Morphy Richards Intellisteam with plastic trays, I understand the struggle when they succumb to damage. In my case, I ended up purchasing a whole new unit because the steamer's performance was just that impressiveâ€"sometimes you have to bite the bullet. The control and the ability to set separate start times for each compartment were standout features for me. It allowed for a hassle-free cooking experience, preventing the common issue of overcooking certain items. For instance, carrots and swede in the front left for 40 mins, potatoes in the rear for 30, and cauliflower and broccoli in the front right for 12 minsâ€"all perfectly coordinated. However, the plastic trays, though efficient, couldn't withstand the test of time and dishwasher encounters. The struggle to find replacement trays was real, and unfortunately, Tefal ceased production of my beloved model. Enter the Morphy Richards 470006 Intellisteam. The shift to metal trays is a game-changer, offering sturdiness that the plastic counterparts lacked. The single dividable front tray is a welcomed improvement, adding versatility to its usage. The glass lids are a nice touch, more durable than the previous plastic ones. This new release retains all the features I loved from the earlier model, making it a vast improvement on an already fantastic product. Highly recommended for those who appreciate the convenience of intelligent cooking and durability in their kitchen appliances.

You can use the steamer sections individually so you don’t after to have them all on if your poaching or boiling a egg ‘perfect also once timer is up it puts it in a temped mode to keep your item hot .

Bought this as a replacement for an older model. Love that the containers re now metal. Fantastic bit of kit.

Needed a new steamer and all those before were plastic, which deteriorated. Chose this because of the different steaming zones, the stainless steel containers and glass lids. Have not been disappointed and have now bought another as a gift for a relative. Easy to use, very efficient. Easy to clean. My only criticism would be that sometimes the food catches in the rims of the containers. A minor inconvenience. Love it!!!

This is one of those projects you have to explore and develop. I bought it just to simplify steaming things, but it has totally changed the way I cook. I'm eating such incredibly healthy meals now, for so little effort. The timer thing might not seem like a big deal, but it is. What it means is you can assemble your whole meal into the steamer, select the appropriate times, then walk away until it beeps to say it's ready. It will do all the time management for the different food cooking times. If you're busy it will keep the food warm - however this aspect must be treated with care. For things like meat, fish, carrots (hard vegetables), etc, you can easily leave it on keep warm for 20 mins, tho the machine will actually keep things warm for 40 mins. But for delicate things like eggs and spinach, every extra minute of keep-warm steam counts! So your eggs will go a little harder and your spinach will go a softer and start to break-up. I'm so glad I tried this :-)

I have had my eye on this intelisteam for some time but when the handle broke on my existing three tier steamer nearly scolding me I decided to go ahead and buy one. A good decision. I live on my own and so I have been testing it out with various foods with portions for one. I have found the recommended steaming times in the instruction book to be very close to my liking but have adjusted them where needed. There is ample room in the compartments for bigger portions to feed my family when they visit so no problems there and cleaning after use is so easy. Everything except the base unit can go in the dishwasher but I hand wash the components in very short time. I found the instruction book to be easy to follow with how to set up and set the times, and there are also a few recipes if you would like to try them. My likes with this machine are. 1 Easy water top up while cooking. 2 All foods finish cooking at the same time. 3 Keep warm facility should you be not ready to serve up. 4 The kitchen does not end up being a sauna. 5 Able to set food timings to suit my own palate. Best appliance I have bought for a long time.

This Steamer is the best steamer I ever had, so easy to use, easy to clean, specially the veggies add taste so much nicer, no plastic smell or taste, highly recommend this steamer. New year dinner is second time used now, I just notice this steamer able to separate compartment 🤩 wow 🤩 all the housewife should have this steamer at home, so easy to use 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Where do I start? Lovely new steamer, quite sophisticated - and well made. But despite sitting for what seemed like hours studying the manual and pressing buttons, couldn't make it work properly. Only half the LDC lit up, you could only adjust 3 of the 8 food icons, and couldn't alter any timing WHATSOEVER. Did manage to steam one meal on the default settings. Lovely taste - but half dead panel. Rang Morphy Richards. Got this rather abrasive Northern lady: "Where did you buy it? Send it back to Amazon!" Oh my God, I'm only the customer, love! Thought I'd try chatting to Amazon (first time in years of buying £10k of things). Got such a grilling on the chat page ("Did you ring Morphy Richards first? Did MR give you a return number?" etc. etc. Yes, no! WTF! Look Amazon, I've spent a fortune here, just give me a refund. So it's going back. Not impressed. Stuff happens, but be warned. Great if it works, sucks if it doesn't! 11/7 Oh my Gawwwd! Sent the old one back, ordered new one ... same unresponsive panel! Nearly died - but thought, something is wrong here! Hello ... There's a sticker on the panel, which is absolutely invisible!! Remove ... and voilà! Panel is all lit up, can change everything!! Checked the manual - doesn't say this anywhere! So be warned!! I don't think this is my fault AT ALL. If MR had just put this in a addendum slip or something, we wouldn't have had this immense faff! I'm gonna steam the mother out of this one now! But not till tomorrow - need to lie down in a darkened room first. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Świetnie sprawdza w gotowaniu na parze. Dwa pojemniki i 3 niezależne komory to świetny pomysł bo można gotować 3 potrawy jednocześnie bez ich mieszania. Bardzo łatwe sterowanie i programowanie. Wadą jest niedopasowana przegródka. Polecam

I bought this item and there is no power going to it it won’t even switch on yesterday was the first time I tried to use it as we have been away.i want a refund and some one needs to pick up faulty one as I am not PAYING POSTAGE AS IT IS TOO EXPENSIVE

design eccellente e compatto, prodotto solido e bello, materiali ottimi. Non è potentissimo nel senso che serve più tempo per cuocere i cibi rispetto ad altra vaporiera Philips che ho usato per tanti anni. Per esempio: cottura broccoli in 16-18 minuti mentre con la precedente erano sufficienti 7-8 minuti, però aveva i cestelli in plastica che dopo qualche anno si sono rovinati e crepati. Questa ha i cestelli di metallo e coperchi in vetro temperato, sono solidi. Inoltre si usano affiancati e si possono cuocere diverse pietanze contemporaneamente senza mescolare i sapori (pesce, riso, verdure per esempio) La maggior parte delle vaporiere utilizza cestelli impilabili, uno sopra l'altro. Cosa che ovviamente causa il mescolare dei sapori\liquidi dei cibi; questo accade se si usano i 3 cestelli impilati contemporaneamente. Per me ottimo acquisto perchè la cottura al vapore è salutare, non richiede condimenti e rende i cibi molto più saporiti. soprattutto la verdura che è mille volte più buona rispetto a cuocere in pentola in acqua bollente, inoltre mantiene tutte le proprietà organolletiche che non vengono disperse in acqua.

This is my first food steamer. I purchased this one because it allows for various cooking times, you put everything in the steamer at the same time, set the different times for different vegetables and the steamer turns the corresponding container on at the right time so everything is ready at the same time. Veggies came out perfect my first try. We are a family of five and there was plenty of room for all the vegetables. The second night I used the steamer to cook basmati rice, it also came out perfect. This appliance will be used most nights at our house. I love it.
