I Love Panasonic Phones for my Home Office
I bought these phones 6 years ago. I've had all tile floors and dropped them numerous times with no issue. I've lost them, found them, my kids have gotten hold of them. They have lasted really well. Only now they are starting to get a little worn and the batteries aren't charging like they should and they just started to randomly blank out during calls. This was the second time I bought Panasonic phones and the previous ones lasted a very long time as well. The range is really good, I can go anywhere in my home or yard and still be on the phone. I will stick with this brand because they aren't overly complicated, do their job well and don't try to be everything for everyone. Just a super handy phone that works and works.

Fine phone with some really good features
I installed this phone with the base station almost 100 feet away from one of the handsets and it works just fine. The reception is crisp and clear without any static or fading. There are a number of great features that make it worthwhile for me to have this phone system:-The buttons are large and light up when I pick up the handset-The ringer volume can be adjusted to be really loud - and I mean LOUD! Good thing if you're a little hard of hearing.-The display is large with large letters and can be read from several feet away.-There is a paging function to find a handset when is gets misplaced.- The clarity of the sound is excellent and there is an adjustable sound equalizer for those with an upper-range hearing deficiency. (Of course, much of the sound quality depends on the what your local telephone company does to your phone line.)It has many other features that have little interest for me but may be useful to others -call blocking, alarms, voice caller ID, and speed dial. Overall, it's a good set of phones and I am quite satisfied with it.

Advanced Panasonic Phone
When I first opened the package on this phone, I was not too sure I was going to keep it. The keys felt stiff, but they may loosen up. I tend to use the speakerphone, of which the button is now on the bottom left, but I think I can get used to it. I think the habit came from never really wanting to put a cell phone to my ear. The holders clips for back of phone were a real pain to put on! There are just 2 tab buttons under the screen instead of 3 for phone book and menu. I just spoke to mother, who called, and she heard me, and I just heard a break in the sound, but not sure what it was. It is hard to believe, but I don't think I ever mentioned the call blocker program that was also on old phone. For some reason, I get a lot of marketing calls and block them all. I would delete some and some would call again. The book says up to 250 max, but I think it was a lot less on old Panasonic phone. It also says you can block a range of numbers. Also, when a blocked caller calls you, the phone will ring one time, but this phone lets you block the first ring, which can be annoying. See code #173 on list. The main thing I don't like and may cause problems are the speakers. They don't have the small holes on the back like my last phone, but a circle with cutouts, or whatever you want to call them underneath. They are on the phones and base unit. I will say that you will love the extra ring tones, one of which is "Jingle Bells" for Christmas holiday. I am only into the music, TV shows and lights these days! Melody 2 is what I use and Melody 5 is Jingle Bells. There are 3 alarms on the phone, so I took one alarm off iPod and put it on the phone since it is a little easier to quickly cut off. I will followup if I have any problems.Note: Here are some shortcuts found in pamphlet:You always push menu and # sign first!Alarm: #720Auto Talk: #200Block "NO" # Call: #240Date: #101First Ring: #173Ring Tone: #161Ring Volume: #160Silent: #238Change Time: #237Tone: #161View Blocked: #217Volume: #160UPDATE: THE PHONE HAS BEEN WORKING WELL. THE ONLY PROBLEM I RECENTLY HAD WAS WHILE TALKING TO MOTHER AND ANOTHER LADY LAST NIGHT, I WAS HEARING SOME KIND OF CLICKING SOUND. IF IT HAPPENS TOO OFTEN, I MAY HAVE TO RETURN PHONE. I HOPE THOSE PEOPLE ARE NOT BUGGING MY PHONE! IT IS ALWAYS HARD TO TELL WHOSE PHONE HAS THE PROBLEM. I WOULD LOVE TO GET ME A REASONABLE AND VERY CLEAR CELL PHONE. THE HTC WAS VERY GOOD WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT, BUT THE BATTERY LIFE WAS TERRIBLE. ANOTHER THING, I WISH THAT THE BASE WAS HEAVIER BECAUSE IT IS TOO LIGHT. AND, WHEN MOVING IT, IT IS EASY TO TOUCH BUTTONS BECAUSE THEY ARE ON THE END. AT FIRST, I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND THE VOICE WHEN ANNOUNCING NAMES, BUT IT HAS GOTTEN A LITTLE CLEARER. I LIKE HAVING SPEAKERPHONE BUTTON ON BOTTOM BECAUSE IT IS EASIER TO FIND. THE FEEL OF THE PHONE IS NICE WHEN I PICK IT UP. THEY HAVE MADE IT SLIGHTLY DIFFICULT ON THIS MODEL WHEN IT COMES TO SAVING OR BLOCKING A NUMBER. I THINK THERE IS JUST AN EXTRA STEP TO IT.

Superb Panasonic with ability to Block 250 Calls!
First Order cancelled by Amazon but customer service was great. Got a fantastic open box deal in Warehouse section. Phone was just as described with all manuals and in original packaging. This replaced an older Panasonic phone that we had had for over 15 years. This new phone was easy to program your contacts in the phone and are arranged in Alphabetic Order under Menu. Love that you can block 250 numbers which is great with all the telemarketers and political phone calls. Calls don't ring through or you can set it to ring once and then silence. Lots of ringer options, volume button and even silent ring during certain times of day. Screen and buttons are large and easy to read. Answering machine number easy to read and alerts you with a beep if you come home and calls have been received while away. Has battery for power outage. Two handsets is perfect for our home. One for kitchen, bedroom and family room. Can name each handset so you know where they go and set volume for each. Perfect phone.

Great phone system!
I purchased the Panasonic KXTGE232B as a replacement for a very old cordless phone of another brand name. I found this Panasonic system to be superior in so many ways to the one we were replacing. I really like the larger number pads and larger screen that are on the phones in this system. The Panasonic system also has a ton of features, which took a little bit of time to figure out, but with easy to follow instructions I was able to program this phone system as I desired. I only had to enter phone numbers into the phonebook on one of the phones, and that was automatically stored into the entire system, with the info entered then available on each handset. Overall, this is a very handsome and manageable phone system with very good sound quality.

Can be used with a Corded Headset
I bought these phones because I wanted to use a corded headset. I'm using them with the Panasonic KX-TCA430 (purchased separately) and it works perfectly.

Panasonic DECT 6.0 technology is scrap. I have experienced frequent call drops every few minutes. I see from the net that this problem is going on since 2008 but these folks does not seem to correct this. Don't go for this phone.

Exactly what I was looking for!!
I searched high and low for a set of phones that offered a phone jack on the handset! I found it with this set, and did not compromise on other aspects. Phones announce the caller, clarity is great, met all my needs. Happy with my purchase!
