More than just gym chalk, Freek Grip Glue takes the tried and true grip enhancer, magnesium carbonate (traditional chalk), and combines it with a powerful antiperspirant formula to create the ultimate gym chalk. Grip Glue is non-messy, super long-lasting, and outperforms any gym chalk on the market. How to use:Apply a small amount to your hands and spread evenly (no need to rub your hands together for long!) Allow a few seconds to air-dry. Grab the weight and Unleash the Freek.35-40 uses per bottleProudly Made in the U.S.A.THE DIFFERENCETraditional ChalkMade from magnesium carbonate, which is an grip-enhancing substance used for years to dry sweaty hands. However, magnesium carbonate needs to be applied dozens of times during a workout to continue drying out the hands as sweat continues to form, and the chalk layer is worn off. Grip GlueMade from a unique antiperspirant blend and combined with magnesium carbonate. The result is a far superior formula that uses magnesium carbonate to dry any existing sweat while the antiperspirant prevents additional sweat production during your workout. For most athletes a single application of Grip Glue liquid chalk will last an entire workout.

Much better products available out there.
I can only compare this to the other liquid gym chalk product I have used, called Liquid Grip. In short, this stuff doesn't even come close.Disclaimer: I am not associated nor have been paid by any company for this review.1) Consistency: Liquid Grip is about the consistency of thin hand lotion, making it easy to spread on your hands; this Freek Grip Glue is as thin as water, so it spills and drips everywhere, and coats your hands very thinly. Winner: Liquid Grip2) Durability: I lift weights and do a Crossfit-type workout for about 60-80 minutes per day. Liquid Grip will last for about 30-40 minutes before I need to re-apply. This Freek stuff didn't even make it through the warm-up. Winner: Liquid Grip3) Grip/"Stickiness": The Liquid Grip definitely helps grip the bar, while this Freek Grip Glue almost feels a little bit slick on the bar. Winner: Liquid Grip4) Sweat repellent/Drying: Both did this fairly equally, at least until the started to wear off. Winner: Liquid Grip, but only because it's more durable (See Reason #2)5) Color: Liquid Grip is an ugly beige-ish color. Freek is a pretty light-blue color. Winner: Freek.Verdict: I considered giving the Freek one-star, but reconsidered because it is a usable product, not complete junk - it's just that there are much better products available. If the pretty color matters more than anything else, go with the Freek. But if function is important (of course it is), then buy the Liquid Grip.EDIT: Well, I tried to put 2-3 coats of this stuff onto my hands, since it's so watery, to see what happened. I also tried to do the same with Liquid Grip as a comparison. When put on too thick, the Liquid Grip gets kind of crackly and starts to flake-off a little bit. Not ideal but not the end of the world. This Freek Grip Glue, for some reason, basically turned into regular gym chalk and started puffing-up clouds of powder into the air. This probably isn't too bad unless you're at a gym that doesn't allow powdered gym chalk - it could get you kicked-out, and therefore would make this product completely worthless. Winner: Liquid Grip again, and I lowered the Freek to one-star, since in my mind, it now has no advantage over regular gym chalk, and it's WAY more expensive.

and this product was a great, mess free alternative to traditional chalk
I am a regular power and olympic lifter, hence my regular use of chalk. The gym I used to attend was anal about making messes with chalk, and this product was a great, mess free alternative to traditional chalk. My first test run was to perform several sets of high volume cleans just to see how the liquid chalk holds up under repetition and sweat. It was easy and quick to apply with no mess whatsoever. The scent is pleasant, and after rubbing it over your hands like lotion, it dries in a few seconds. As for performance, the level of grip was great and long lasting, and I only needed a second application to finish several sets. The antiperspirant kept my hands sufficiently dry, despite dripping in sweat elsewhere. My second test on another occasion was to perform single repetitions of a high weight snatch. For my first repetition the grip glue held up decently, though my grip wasn't as airtight as I'd like to feel comfortable with that weight over my head. Upon a second repetition, my hands were slipping laterally on the bar by the time I had the weight overhead.Pros: This product is great and holds up during workouts with lots of repetition. It will keep your hands dry to prevent slipping on whatever you get your hands on, whether it be a pull up bar, medicine ball, or various free weights or equipment. The effect is more like keeping your hands dry rather than having them caked with chalk. There is also no mess.Cons: This product does not provide the superior grip for heavy lifting that can be found with traditional chalk. If you are going to do heavy repetitions of deadlifts or snatches, it will feel like you're doing it with bare, albeit dry hands. However, I do believe that Freek Strength does sell their own special dry chalk product.
