Singing Wild Game Birds of North America Wall Clock, 13 In, Green

The bird sounds were kind of weird at first because we are so used to songbirds. Now that we know what they are, we really like them and look forward to them. It is a nice addition to all of our sound clocks.

This bird clock offers a different game bird for every hour. It is light activated so the volume it produces depends on the amount of light in the room. If it is mostly dark, you don't hear the sounds at all. The minute hand can be heard making the "ticking" sound so I wouldn't recommend it for a bedroom if you're a light sleeper like me. Awake I don't notice the sound though and I have fallen asleep right under it while watching tv if I'm super tired. I have the audubon songbird clocks in other rooms and find this one a nice change for variety. Especially since only the oldest audubon clock offered birds like the goose and mourning dove. Sounds include: 12:00 = Wild turkey 1:00 = Mallard Duck 2:00 = Mourning Dove 3:00 = Rednecked Pheasant 4:00 = American Woodcock 5:00 = American Bob White Quail (My personal favorite sound) 6:00 = Canada Goose 7:00 = California Quail 8:00 = Ruffed Grouse 9:00 = Wood Duck 10:00 = Common Snipe 11:00 = Greenwing Teal Duck

I got this clock to replace one exactly like it. Mine was old and the back paper inside the clock had curled and rotted. I was so happy to find this since I was sure I would never find one. I love birds!

You can’t hear the sounds and cannot turn up the volume however the clock is made very well and is nice looking happy with the purchase

I bought this as a gift for my mom. She loves it BUT some of the bird sounds are too quiet. Not sure if we got a defective one or if they are all like that. If all the bird sounds had the same clear volume she would have given it more stars.

This is one of my favorite bird clocks. The first one I had lasted some years and I missed it greatly. So happy to have it on my wall again. The sounds are loud, clear and accurate. Of course, the wild birds can't be found anywhere else. My buying experience was also very good. I received my clock earlier than expected and the item was packed well.

The product came in a timely manner and was as described appearance wise. There's nothing that can be done to make it louder, no volume control on the back, and it's still quiet even when placed in full sunlight. There's either a faulty speaker situation, or a faulty light sensor. The inability to change it from sensor mode to a manual volume control is the main problem with the device.

Good quality , keeps time accurately and sounds work well.

Product is wonderful, charming and we are quite happy with the wild bird sounds. Instructions were easy to follow and clock running beautifully. Package arrived very banged up, box was broken in a few places and outside packaging (your envelope) was torn and dirty. We were sure we would find a very broken clock but thankfully clock was intact. First time ever that we have received a package from Amazon so damaged.

THE BIRD CLOCK IS OUR MAIN HOUSE CLOCK AND IS MEANT TO ALERT US AND FAMILIARIZE US AS TO WHAT THE HOUR IS..THE BIRD SOUNDS ARE A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT AFTER HAVING HAD AN AUDOBON CLOCK FOR MANY YEARS!!!!!!!!!
