Hi would this be suitable to repair a tear/hole in faux leather item or is there another product you can recommend ?

This is perfect for tear or hole. Its like a colour matched glue that merges with colour of leather and stays very very flexible. Invisible on tears where flap meets up but visible if open hole. With backing fabric in place it is extremely hard wearing, almost unnoticeable and feels like leather to the touch. Also, very helpful people who will advise how to do it, sort problems or give a full no quibble refund if it should fail to work. Highly recommended.

Any good for a car dashboard?

Hi, if the dashboard is made from either vinyl or leather, I don't see why not. You may need to build it up gradually, letting it dry in between coats.

I have a sofa with a 6cm split. Will the kit enable me to repair it?

Hi, yes it should fix the split in the leather no problem. I fixed a split in the leather on my sofa which was around 5cm, and it's barely noticeable now. There is some canvas in the pack that you use to put under the split, before coating it with the coconix. Hope this helps.
