This is great hair color but this color is more reddish than appears if your hair is a light color. For more brownish color go with golden light brown. It has perfect mount iof auburn red mix that looks more natural. .but if bright red is your color it must be blonde ir grey to take that color . I mix this color thought with light golden brown to get auburn high lights. Mix half and half of each tube's and tighten lids fir next time.

I will never permanent color my hair again, it always turns a brassy blonde in no time, even though my hair is brown. Natural instincts made my hair soft, very evenly and deeply colored. I love the conditioner that comes with it and wish I could get a huge bottle of that alone! I would have preferred if the color was a bit more rust colored, it is a true Irish red. Also, at first, my hair looked like it was purpely beet colored but after a few days and 2 washes it settled down to a true red. My hair is medium brown naturally. It seems long lasting too! So glad there is a semi-permanent color out there as there are so few. That way if I choose to highlight my hair back to blonde, I can. This was a fun way to alleviate the boredom of lockdown in Covid-19 and no open hair salons.

I really appreciate that this brand doesn't have the harsh, chemical scent typical of many home kits; the zero ammonia formula and added oils definitely help prevent my hair from feeling dried out after processing. However, keep in mind that this is a gradual wash-away color, so you won't get that deep, permanent "richness" found in stronger dyes. After about two weeks, I've noticed the color has faded into a bit of a dual-tone look, and it doesn't hold its original vibrancy for very long. It performs exactly as described on the box "blurring grays" (so not completely color) and washing out over time so while it's not a long-term solution, it's a solid, low-damaging option for a quick home refresh if you don't mind the lighter maintenance.

I have used this semi permanent hair color in Light Auburn for years now. It's quick and easy to apply and the color lasts a long time. Completely covers my grey. The conditioner they provide leaves my hair soft and shiney, I would like a big bottle of that stuff! The color is very natural looking too. The instructions say put it on dry hair but I wet my hair first. I have very long hair and the dry method just didn't work for me. I apply it in the shower and rinse it in there too. So easy!

Light Auburn turned out an extremely bright unnatural red. Yikes. This was over a very natural looking lighter auburn shade I had - was just trying to go a shade darker. Major regret! Good thing it washes out somewhat.

I never can find this color in the store and the price is right on this so I am so grateful to be able to buy it from Amazon!

Very easy to apply. My very muddy blondish hair had grown out a completely different color after losing 2/3 of it from an unknowingly highly deleterious product claiming to be ever so gentle and rejuvenating. . . . my daughter alerted me to the already $256 million paid in damages and to, of course, STOP using it. Took a full 2.5 years to grow back a healthy head of hair. In any case, I found this product to be exceptional, the color true to form with its deep auburn overtones and was a fun, conditioning experiment. But, as ALWAYS a natural blonde my entire life as are my children, I don’t really look familiar to myself and will likely make an attempt to return to something close to the person I once recognized in the mirror, when sleeping properly and consistently. BUT OVERALL, I highly recommend this product and as it is only temporary, and truly so gentle, a great way to try on a new presentation. You know women and their hair! We only have so much we can control. I truly didn’t even get it applied with absolute accuracy but it really did a fantastic job of overriding my slightly exhausted self as I went about it. VERY inexpensive considering the outcome and ease of use. Just be sure to have a less than favorite towel on your shoulders to keep off your skin although it has no ammonia or anything particularly damaging, just would very temporarily stain your skin. I was really happy with this hair color—it matched the shade on the box very closely and gave me a result I loved. The formula was easy to mix and apply, and even with my hair being below my shoulders, there was just the right amount of product. It also lasted a good amount of time before fading. The only drawback for me is personal—I have sensitive skin, and coloring my hair tends to irritate my scalp. Because of that, I may need to look for something gentler in the future. Otherwise, this is a fantastic option if you want a reliable, true-to-color demi-permanent dye.

This product works great after you’ve washed it off a few times. Keep in mind I’m a dark golden blonde with already dyed ginger hair. Color after you’ve freshly done it is such a bright red auburn, like Scarlett Johansson in the avengers, which is great if you like it! If you don’t, it will nicely fade away into a natural redhead hair color after like 5 washes, but then your real color will seep through and it will be time to start the process all over again

So happy I was able to order this colour!!! Previously, I could only find the Light Auburn in US stores. I’m a natural redhead and the light auburn is a great match vs the medium I’ve tried in stores (too dark for me) Colour lasts for a long time and covered greys. I’ve had so many compliments from friends on the colour.
