I am calculating that using Chummie for several month costs a lot for tapes and sensors. What is your true experience?

You use the same sensor. We use medical tape a little goes a long way! instead of the Chummie tape - that doesn't work the greatest with little panties. I tape the cord to the top of the panty line but we also put a pull-up on over the panties (to protect bedding) and it also holds the sensor in place.

Will this work on a 3 year old?

CHummie Elite bedwetting alarm is recommended for children ages 5 and older.

Will it work with the child wearing night pants as in underjams?

No. The sensor needs to feel the wetness of their underwear, in order to alarm.
