McDavid Hinged Knee Brace for Men and Women, Knee Support & Stabilizers

My last pair died a year ago from using it for about a decade for sports which is pretty darn good nothing lasts that long. I tried another brand and was completely disappointed in build quality compared to mcdavid. Went back and the quality and confidence in my movement was back. My knees are protected and I can go all out.

This is a serious piece of equipment. A seriously good piece of equipment. My knee was very injured; I was on crutches and couldn't place any weight on it at all for a few weeks. This brace made a great deal of difference, and allowed me to walk on it once it became weight bearing without it dislocating either laterally or anteriorly/posteriorly. It fits very tight, which is necessary for it to provide support. That being said, it gets uncomfortable after a short while and it's necessary to slide it off the knee to relieve the pressure. I'm able to do some pretty physical work on my feet with brace on, and wouldn't have the confidence to do so without it. BTW, I'm right at the edge of the sizing chart for medium and large. I ordered a medium, and it was too tight to use. Then again, my knee was in a lot of pain and was still very swollen. I ordered a large, and it's much better. You can tighten this thing down quite a bit with the cross straps, so even if you order up a little bit on size you can nonetheless create stability. The cross straps completely rock. BTW, I thought it was either an MCL or LCL, but it seems more like the ACL. This brace will help with all of them. Good luck!

I love this knee brace it is exactly what I wanted. It is sufficiently stable slips on perfectly. I tape my patella up underneath and it doesn’t mess up my tape, it’s very stiff but not so stiff that I cannot move. I was afraid of it at first but it does exactly what I needed it to. I’ll use it until I either get my surgery or complete physical therapy, UPDATE: I wore the first pair out. They work so well, even after my surgeries I continue to use them. They allow me to keep running, which is what I love to do.

Not a replacement for a true functional brace. Heavy and bulky. Would probably help with knee pain and instability, but you will need to tighten brace so much it almost hurts. I returned mine because it was not what i needed, it came in the wring bag and had someones pet fur on it so I'm guessing it came to me used.

Does a great job of supporting my osteoarthritis knee during sports like pickleball. High quality and good fit. Maybe just a bit snug so I would order one size up from recommended

I measured a large and the large loosened up beyond wearable in just 2 wears. I was waiting to get the medium and I missed the deadline return. Now I’m stuck with a large that doesn’t fit. I wish they would update their sizing chart!

Usually Write reviews when something is either very good or bad. Happy to write this is the best hinged knee brace I have used. I tore my MCL. Bought the generic CVS one-size-fits all, expensive price of crap. This works so well because the fit is sized according to your knee size. In addition, after a good baseline passive fit, it has cross supports and Velcro upper and lower tighteners so you can adjust it perfectly. The hinged metal brace is good quality and the price is very reasonable. Recommended. Hope this helps.

Am using this for exercise classes as one knee is weak and sometimes gives way. Feels a bit weird to wear initially but makes a huge difference, knee still clicks occasionally but no weakness. Would suggest getting a size up from the measurement if your anywhere near the top of the range as the do seem to be quite tight.

Erg fijne brace denk ik. Maar m bleek te ruim, heb niet veel spiermassa. Helaas geen s verkrijgbaar. Met name kruisbandage lijkt mij erg ondersteunend.

L’ho comprato per la seconda volta e mi sto trovando benissimo. Gioco a pallavolo da 11 anni e in categoria serie D/C con crociato anteriore rotto da 3 anni. Il primo tutore che ho acquistato è durato dal 2021 fino a quest’anno, ho deciso di cambiarlo perchè essendo usurato capitava che si aprisse perciò avevo bisogno di attaccarlo con il nastro adesivo. Veramente consigliato mi ha permesso di non smettere di giocare dandomi stabilità e tranquillità
