Bought two of these to use when on vacation so my plants were able to get the light they needed without worrying that the sun would dry out the soil before we returned. They work beautifully! I had a plant that I was trying to train to grow up instead of leaning over the side of the pot making the pot tipsy....and these lights helped make the plant grow straight up. I simply clipped them to the lip of the pot so the lights were directly over the plants not too close to the leaves. you have a couple settings for brightness and duration, a breeze to set up. I did not have the option to clip them to the table but you can. once they were clipped onto the pot itself they were stable and did not move. they look just as advertised and not bulky at all. Great investment!

I live in North Dakota and don’t have south facing windows on my home. I also don’t have a heated garage space to work in so gardening before the greenhouse opens is a challenge for me. This year I decided to start several flowers from seed and these lights do the trick. They are inexpensive, the gooseneck is very sturdy and doesn’t droop. I have no problem getting them to clip to the side of a plastic folding table but the closer the plants are to the edge of the table the more challenging it becomes. I initially didn’t think they were super bright but then accidentally blinded myself with one. I wish they would have slightly more coverage when very close to the plants so the ones farther away don’t become leggy, but this is easily resolved with regularly turning the trays. Overall, they are great. I have ordered several and will continue to add them as needed. I’m happy with them and the seedlings appear to be as well.

I really like most aspect of this lamp, except for the timer. First the good.... This lamp is very sturdy and has the Best gooseneck that I've every seen on a lamp. It is NOT the limp gooseneck you see on other lamps where you place the lamp in position, then it slowly Wilts like a dying flower. NOPE! This has a strong firm gooseneck that stays PUT exactly wherer you position it. If you're using this for plants, this is a must because you need exact positioning to illuminate your plants so they will get the light they need. This lamp WILL ALLOW that Perfect Placement so your plants will thrive. The clip is very strong is should solidly attach the lamp to a table, shelf, or other surface the the clip can grab. I was suprised at the heavy duty clip. You should never have any attachment problem with this lamp. I purchased the 50 watt version. I was suprised at how BRIGHT this lower wattage version really is. Glad I didn't order the 100 watt because it would have been too bright. Even with 50 watts, you must turn away to keep it from hurting your eyes. Seller Customer Service is GREAT. My first lamp was defective. The selleer answered my query immediately and shipped a new lamp right away. I had the new lamp in only a few days. The seller is exceptional in customer service. Now for the Negative.... The timeer function. This timer works, but it may not work as you expected. In product description, here is how the timer function is described: "Timer Function & Multiple Settings - this growing light offer the circular memory timer function with 3 options-4h/8h/12h. When keeping power, it can automatically turn on and off every day according your settings, no more manual operation for you." I expected that whatever time period you set would be repeated an an ON/OFF cycle forever (until you remove power from the lamp). NOT TRUE! What I expected is that once you set the timer the lamp would but ON for the timer period, then OFF for the timer period, then ON for the timer period... etc. etc. etc. This lamp doe NOT work this way!!! It is based on a 24 hour cycle from the time you set the timer. For example, if you set a 4 hour timer it will turn ON immediately for 4 hours, then shut to OFF. It will remain OFF for the next 20 hours until the next day when the time that you set the timer rolls around. Then, on Day 2, it wil burn for 4 hours then turn OFF. Each time period you select on the timer function will ONLY turn ON for that period ONCE every 24 hours. The cycle is 24 hours. It does NOT cycle ON and OFF per the time period you select on the lamp. If you select 4 hours, it only turns ON for 4 hours per 24 hours. If you select 8 hours, it only turns ON for 8 hours per 24 hours. If you select 12 hours, it turns ON for 12 hours per 24 hours. The lamp turns ON starting at the exact time when your originally set the timer. I would have otherwise given this lamp 5 stars, but had to knock off a star for the weird operation of the timer function. Now, I probably would not have knocked off a star if the product description in Amazon had actually EXPLAINED how the timer works. Even the instructions that come with the lamp do NOT explain that the lamp operates on a 24 hour cycle and will ONLY burn ONCE per 24 hour period.. Other than this lack of explanation on the product page and the same shortcoming in the included instructions, this is really a great lamp and will earn a Five Star rating from most buyers.

I purchased this grow light over a year ago and I felt as if I should leave a review for you plant lovers out there like me looking for a good, dependable, and easy-to-use grow light. I feel that I can leave a solid review for you guys! At first I did not care much for the way it looked, but as my miniature greenhouse in my room grew larger, I realized how much I depended on this grow light. I have brought plants back from near death and I have propagated succulents. I have raised happy little bonsai, a money tree and kept my air plants healthy. I have been able to keep the (quite large) aloe my mother gave me alive and to my surprise it's so content with itself it has started having numerous babies. This grow light is just phenomenal in its ease of use. I have clipped this thing on any thing that it can clip on and it hangs in there without even a flinch. I have twisted, stretched, pulled, bent, and turned the arms in every direction possible and it has not yet to show any loss of function. I have never once had an issues with the timer, the light output, or controller. It's ability to provide the required light necessary to keep indoor plants alive continues to amaze me. Overall, what is important to me is the quality of light it puts out. For some plants, like my aloe, I will move the arms closer. For the more delicate plants, I will move them a little farther away. What is great about the flexibility and durability of these arms is that you can adjust them to your plants needs. I hope you would give this a try because even for a beginner like I was, this grow light was perfect. I absolutely love it turns itself on and off too. Because goodness, I can barely remember my car keys sometimes, lol.

I’ve been using this grow light on my desk plant for about a month now. The plant definitely took notice right away and started not only growing but growing towards the light. The integrated timer seems to work as expected turning the light on/off at the same times each day.

Mildly disappointed. First off, there was no protective plastic film over the bulbs so one was scratched during shipping. Others that I have purchased (from this same brand) had that film and arrived undamaged. Maybe it was a return/repackage? Now this wasn't terrible, it still seemed usable. So let's get down to the actual product. I have three single lamps by this same brand in this style and they work great, I have recommended them to people and also bought one for a relative. Nice and bright, control box is slim and unobtrusive, and the timer is great. I purchased this two-header to replace one of those because I wanted to have coverage for a shelf with some short and some tall plants. I assumed this was going to be exactly the same as my other lights by this brand, just with two lights instead of one. Well, shame on me for assuming. Out of the box these light heads are bulkier and a round style instead of flat, and the control box is big and chunky. Not a deal breaker, I figure maybe it was an older style. Then I plug it in and turn it on. Both heads are dim, like a lot dimmer than my old light. I thought I must have it on the lowest setting, but no it was on the brightest. We plug the old light in and hold them over the plants side by side and the old one is a ton brighter! Then my husband points out that the old one has three rows of leds while the new one only has one row in each head. No wonder it's so much dimmer!!! I should have read the description better. I am disappointed because for the price it was about double what my single headed light by this brand was, and in the pictures it looked the same. But both of the heads put together produce less light than my old single. I will just use two of the singles instead because the light level of this one just isn't what my plants need.

I bought this product in order to keep my house cool in this scorching summer heat. Usually I have my curtains and blinds open, but I have many windows so my house heats up quickly! The package arrived the very next day! The lights, and flexibility and are exactly as described. The clamp is very strong, and clip and hold on to my counter perfectly! I’ve been using the 8 hour timer (since I use sunlight a few hours a day too), and it works as it should. The remote is very easy to figure out but it also comes with instructions. I’m excited to see how my plans do with this grow light! If they do great, I will definitely be buying more in the future.
