These are my favorite grow lights, use several in my indoor garden.
These are my absolute favorite grow lights. They are the only ones i will buy from now on. I’ve tried other brands and i have to say, these are so far the best I’ve purchased for several reasons. The color temperature is perfect, it’s not too warm even though it has a few red chips. Thats hard to get right and other brands have a pink tint or flat out purple. That pink light may be okay for flowering and fruiting plants but if you have mostly tropical plants, succulents, cacti or foliage plants then they aren’t really going to benefit much from that and might not get what they need. Of course all plants need a full spectrum of light to photosynthesize and thrive, but the blue light is more important for the most part. These lights provide the perfect balance and I’m not just saying that after one week of use, I’ve been using these all year and my plants love them. I noticed a huge difference within the first two weeks in terms of growth, overall health of the plants and my succulents are more colorful. No more stretching or leggy plants. The two heads make it very easy to cover a large area and crane the light where i need it. I have a large plant room / indoor garden with over 200 plants so I need a lot of lights and these are very affordable, effective and cover a large surface area when you utilize the light properly and get the correct distancing from the plants. Note, your plants DO NOT need to be directly up against the lights, you will burn them. They should be about 6 to 8 inches away in most cases, succulents can be a bit closer if they are full sun varieties. I use these lights for succulents, pothos, philodendrons, monsteras, palms, zabrinas, string of things like hearts, turtles, pearls, bananas, and a lot more, just to name a few. All my plants really love these lights and if I forget or skip a few nights then it’s noticeable. These are pretty bright when turned all the way up, sometimes I will run them at half strength if a plant is sensitive and hasn’t been acclimated to the light yet or if I just sprayed them for pests but in general I use them at full power. My lower light plants go more towards the back and the full sun loving varieties take a front row seat. You should build up to the amount of time your plants have under grow lights if you are a beginner so as to not burn your plants that may not be used to it yet. So start with 3 hours, than after a week or two maybe go to 5 or 6, and so on. They have built in timers but I override them with my own plug in timer because I find the presets very inconvenient. For example, the timer options are 4, 9 and 12 hours. Most of the time I need them for 6 hours because my plant room in a south facing room with many large windows so they get ample light for most of the day, I am just supplementing in the evenings. Still, that’s a huge jump from 4 to 9 hours with nothing in between. Not really a big deal and its a person preference but just something I wanted to take note of and I’d like to see more timer options in the future. The clamps are very secure, easy to move around when I need to, ( you can clip them to a table, shelf, plant stand or even a tripod, really anywhere.) and the goose neck style lamps are easy to bend and angle the light exactly where I need it. Over all, these are fantastic! Great value, great product and mine do not get hot. I have several of these running for 6 hours a day most days but they sometimes run 9 or 12 on rainy days, mine personally have not gotten hot, only the plugs get a little warm. Note, I have the 50 watt options, I never purchased the 100 watt, didn't think it was necessary. Sometimes more is not better and it doesn’t have to be as bright as the sun to be effective(unless you are doing seedlings lol) I have a feeling the 100 watt would be too much and burn my plants. You’d be surprised how much these 50 watt lamps put off and I have even placed plants several feet away and they are still benefiting from the light. Very happy with my purchases and I will be buying more in the future when I need them.

Sturdy and excellent structure
Extremely sturdy, timer turns it off (no on timer on this model). Has about 5 brightness options. "Arms" of the lights swivel and bend completely at will and are structured enough to actually hold the lighting at the angle you've bent them to. Even if you didnt have plants to help get light, would be cool to clamp to a bed or side table as a lamp or light in a bedroom.

Just what my plants need
This all started when I got a bonsai tree on vacation. It's a precious little tree and I wanted the best of everything for it, but halfway home I realized that I don't have a place with enough light for it. I found this light and decided to give it a try. My little bonsai loves it. It has sprouted new leaves and is growing at a steady rate, reaching for the light so much that I have to rotate the tree every few days. I like the clip-on design. It fits on any surface sturdy enough to use it on. Mine is currently clipped on the top of the rack that holds my fireplace tools. The dual lights are a delightful touch. They can be independently positioned to give plants whatever type of light they like. I have one trained on my bonsai, and the other aiming at a shallow angle to an African Violet further away. The light control is located halfway down the cord, which threw me at first. The power button is the bottom one (a fact that also baffled me until I experimented). The other buttons allow you to set a timer of 4, 8, or 12 hours of light, and I can confirm that it turns off when it is supposed to. The other buttons let you adjust the brightness of the lights. You can make it a "cloudy day" or a bright day by fussing with the buttons. When you go to shut the unit off manually, the first click of the button turns off only one light, which is an extra option for less light for your plants. Hitting it a second time turns it off completely. Overall, I really enjoy this project. My plants are happy with it, too.

Good product.
I do love these lights because I feel like I’m taking care of my plants this winter however I can’t comment if they are doing anything or not. My plants are staying alive so that’s a plus. I do wish that the lights were a little bit more flexible so that I could use one set of two on two shelves as planned but it didn’t work out that way (I wanted to bend one to the top shelf and one to the one below). Either way, I am satisfied with my purchase. There are different light and brightness settings and there is a timer available which is nice. The clip that goes on the shelf is a little bit bulky and the wires are hard to hide. However, it’s still working ok and I would recommend

Love this as do my plants they look the healthiest I have ever seen them!
Bought two of these to use when on vacation so my plants were able to get the light they needed without worrying that the sun would dry out the soil before we returned. They work beautifully! I had a plant that I was trying to train to grow up instead of leaning over the side of the pot making the pot tipsy....and these lights helped make the plant grow straight up. I simply clipped them to the lip of the pot so the lights were directly over the plants not too close to the leaves. you have a couple settings for brightness and duration, a breeze to set up. I did not have the option to clip them to the table but you can. once they were clipped onto the pot itself they were stable and did not move. they look just as advertised and not bulky at all. Great investment!

Great!
Great product. Adjustable and just what my plants need. The lights are very flexible and stay in place exactly how I need them. The automatic timer is also great!

Too expensive for what you get
I got mine for about $20 but I think it’s worth about $10. Major issues: 1) the power cord is at least a foot too short to be functional. It should really have 2 or 3 more feet of length. It barely reaches an outlet right now and does NOT have enough length to tuck out of the way. It’s literally hanging across the desk and there’s not enough to lay on the desk and be tucked behind an object to get it out of the way. 2) the clamp. It clamps down *so hard* that it damaged what it was clipped to. By the time we found something sturdy enough that the clip wasn’t damaging it, the object was too big for the clip to hold. It damaged the first two spots and the last two spots we tried (standard countertop and standard wood table), it couldn’t clip on to them. So factoring all that in, I’d say $10 would be much more reasonable. I wish I could return it but I need it now to save these seedlings. Tl;dr This was not a good value for the money for me, cord too short, clamp needs redesign

Great for turning any room into a greenhouse!
I live in North Dakota and don’t have south facing windows on my home. I also don’t have a heated garage space to work in so gardening before the greenhouse opens is a challenge for me. This year I decided to start several flowers from seed and these lights do the trick. They are inexpensive, the gooseneck is very sturdy and doesn’t droop. I have no problem getting them to clip to the side of a plastic folding table but the closer the plants are to the edge of the table the more challenging it becomes. I initially didn’t think they were super bright but then accidentally blinded myself with one. I wish they would have slightly more coverage when very close to the plants so the ones farther away don’t become leggy, but this is easily resolved with regularly turning the trays. Overall, they are great. I have ordered several and will continue to add them as needed. I’m happy with them and the seedlings appear to be as well.
