Are the carbs coming from the Erythritol?

Hello, The majority of the carbohydrates are derived from Organic Erythritol and Organic Soluble Tapioca Fiber. After subtracting out the erythritol and fiber, Pyure Maple Flavored Syrup is left with a total of 4 grams of net carbs. I hope that answers your question. Thanks, Pyure

I was surprised at the difference in carbs between the lakanto brand and this one? Can anyone explain?

I am sure it is because the other brand uses "vegetable fiber" and someone reached out to clarify that is actually corn fiber. And this one uses Tapioca fiber, which has more carbs than corn fiber. I am sure either choice would cause a spike in the glycemic index.
