Great relief from side sleeping hip pain
This product is a must for anyone pregnant experiencing hip pain when they sleep. I wish I had bought it sooner. I call it my “raft!” My recommendation is to set it up on a guest bed. I always start my night in my normal bed on my side, but usually switch around 2-4am for a few hours once my hips start hurting. The main reason I generally move back is because my nose gets stuffy from facing down. FYI: I do not use the blow up pillow attached. I simply stack two of my own pillows. Some reviewers complain of their back starting to hurt after so long. While partially true, the product comes with a small scarf/sheet that acts like a hammock to provide some support to your belly. Also the downward sloping leg section might feel awkward at first but it provides a very valuable service by propping up your hips and supporting your back. Other reviewers have noted the hole not being large enough. I would describe myself as a small-medium (5’4” 135 lbs pre-pregnancy) and feel the main hole is barely large enough for me now at 30 weeks. To help, I did not blow air into the ring inside the hole. But please note, there is a larger hole if you flip it over. Unfortunately that side is all plastic without the velvet fabric And the hips don’t angle down as much. My last comment involves the boob section. The gap was good in concept but rough on execution. I am only a 34B and barely fit. But I wouldn’t knock this product for it. The gap helps relieve some pressure on your chest and that’s all I personally need. I will sacrifice some boob squashing for hip relief. Hope you give it a try. I know I debated for weeks. I first purchased a U-shape body pillow that I used to prop myself up on my belly. It worked but only for so long.

Amazing For Deep Sleep
I’ve been sleeping exclusively on the Cozy Bump for two weeks now. I’m currently 25 weeks along and it has been absolutely heaven-sent for sleep. I was doing side-lying at bedtime and I kept waking in the night having to pee or shift positions because it hurt my hips. With the cozy bump, I can actually sleep through the entire night (no pressure on my bladder) and I actually DROOL, lol, so I’m getting deep sleep. Lord knows we need as much deep sleep as we can get before the baby gets here. This is my second pregnancy and I’ve recommended the Cozy Bump to all my pregnant friends. The only downside I’ve noticed is that it does hurt my knees for some reason. I’m going to try adding a bolster under my ankles to relieve pressure from my knees locking up while I sleep. It’s also a little weird sleeping next to your partner on the bed with the cozy bump. It takes up a lot of room and it’s thick, so you can’t really cuddle your partner. But totally worth the compromise. Definitely worth the small investment, mamas!

Not so great for short/petite girls?
This is a great idea and I wish it worked better for me...I'm thinking it's because I'm so short? It's very difficult for me to climb onto it and get situated, and I feel like the leg part is for taller people maybe. Even with the cloth, my belly still pulls on my back, so while I can lay on it for a bit for some relief I am unable to sleep on it comfortably for the night... I was unable to figure out where to put my head with the pillow part blown up or deflated... just couldn't get it right. I almost wanted to send it back but I guess I can donate it. It's nice to lie on for a while during the day. But I really wish I could sleep on it. I'm 5'3" and my belly seems pretty big to me...tried all the possible variations n it still pulls my back a little too much. I wish my legs could slant down more to relieve lumbar compression. And it's sorta wide so I can't hang them off the sides too well, either. I think a size small and large for these based on height would be a great idea. I can tell it would be amazing if I could get it right. I'm 38 weeks and about 210lbs. UPDATE- I was desperate and decided to try lying across this like a t. So instead of the regular way, I turned it sideways and hung the long part off the bed and slept on it across with my head and legs off the sides... It worked great, and I had pillows under my chest and head and my legs were very comfortable. So it saved me after all.

Extremely Disappointed, Will Be Returning 😞
I really thought this pillow would help to relieve my pain and discomfort, however it was the complete opposite. It was difficult to get cozy on. There's 3 different areas you have to blow up, which I found to be inconvenient because the air seeped out of them quickly. Also, there's no soft or cozy side for the moms who are 7-9 months pregnant, so you are literally laying on cold plastic. The swaddle blanket that they give you wasn't enough to support my belly. Lying there relieved the aching of my pelvic pain only momentarily, right before my back began to really ache in a new spot that wasn't hurting beforehand. It felt like all my ligaments in my lower back were pulling and tugging me forward. I even tried to find comfort on both sides. The headrest was awkward. It hurt to turn my neck to the left or right for too long. It would have helped to have an empty circle that way moms can lie completely prone, rest their face and have good alignment for their neck & spine. I also couldn't figure out what to do with my arms. I was constantly readjusting. I feel like I had to try too hard to find some type of comfort or pain relief... which ultimately never came. I tried to use it twice, but after 30 mins I would switch back to my pregnancy pillow (and what didn't seem too bad anymore) my bed.

Helpful and comfortable, but no panacea
First of all, I’ll say that I’ve waited four months to write this review so I could give it a real thorough go. I’m currently just under two weeks before my due date and I’ve had this since I was about five months along. I’ve had time to experiment with levels of inflation, pillows under the feet, etc. and I feel like I have a pretty good idea of who I’d recommend this “belly raft” to. Also of note is my status as a confirmed tummy sleeper. It was my hope that this would solve my heartbreak over being forced to side-sleeping. I’ll proceed with a history of my experience since purchasing this item. Initial thoughts were mixed to negative. I was mid 2nd trimester and beginning to have upper back pain. Laying on the raft certainly relieved that pain, but I could only stay on it for about an hour before my hips started screaming at me. I’d also get lightheaded at times and have to get up, no matter what position my head was in (level with my body or elevated). My knees began aching if I didn’t prop my feet up with a pillow. Found the best use of the raft in those days was for an evening stretch and not for attempting sleep. This was where the major disappointment came from. Didn’t use the raft much for a few weeks until my belly got bigger and the back pain intensified. As my body changed I could tolerate sleeping on the raft for an hour, sometimes 90 minutes at a time and would do a rotation or two there during the night when the bed became uncomfortable. More recently I’ve been much happier with it. I’m not sure why, but I don’t need to prop my feet with a pillow anymore (which I like because there’s less fidgeting for comfort in the middle of the night) and I can sleep a couple of hours at a time pretty comfortably. I did have to deflate the inner ring almost all the way to accommodate my belly, but there’s definitely enough room “right side up.” For reference, I’m 5’4”, 151 pounds and 40 inches at my biggest point (127 pounds and 27 inch waist pre-pregnancy). The best part of the raft right now is when the low back cramping kicks in high gear, I can lay prone with a heating pad on my back and it’s glorious. My hips do still hurt when I get up, but that’s the case with any position these days. All in all, it’s been an up and down ride. It certainly wasn’t the answer to all my woebegone tummy sleeper sadness, but it’s provided good relief in those frantic moments where absolutely. no. position. is comfortable. As long as you understand you might not be able to get a full night’s rest on this puppy, I think you’ll be satisfied with the purchase. I am and will undoubtedly get it back out for subsequent pregnancies.

I love my baby bump air mattress!
My husband kindly blew it up for me with a air mattress pump for camping. So it worked great. Once he filled it up and I laid on it, I was instantly relieved from pain and I felt extreme comfort. The more pregnant I get the harder it is to get comfortable and find positions to sleep in. I’m a stomach sleeper and back sleeper and both are dangerous for the baby and you after a certain period in your pregnancy. I believe second trimester. Don’t quote me on that. Though I’m 22 weeks and a few days and I am not able to sleep like that. I’m only allowed to sleep on my sides. Which after a while really makes your legs sore. So this baby bump mattress was a huge winner. I wish I could sleep on it all night next to my husband, in our bed, but it’s a little too big for our queen sized bed. This is nice for when you want to rest and take the weight off your feet and your day. When I laid on it I felt my lower back feel a relief as well. I couldn’t be happier with this. They do give you, what they call a swaddle to throw over the hole for comfort. I think a sheet would make this even better. You definitely can sleep on this. Had I laid on it any longer I would have drifted away. After I’m done with this, I will be gifting a pregnant women with this. So glad I got this. I only wish I got this sooner. That’s baby bump! So worth the money.

Slow leak in seam that tuned into an expensive piece of trash.
I purchased this item because I wanted to have pain relief while pregnant which works. I was so eager to use it immediately that I blew it up and have used it almost every night. the cloth is a MUST to use this product to support your belly while laying on your tummy. As my pregnancy has progressed, I realized that a super tiny leak in the seam that I didn't mind blowing up at first once a week (thinking it was temperature changes expanding and condensing the air molecules in the cozy bump) was actually a leak in the seam. As I have gained weight (25lbs) with the pregnancy the seam is now completely deflating the cozy bump and I am outside of the 30 day return window. Lesson learned- TEST THIS 100% as soon as it is out of the package for leaks don't wait until you are further in your pregnancy and have massive leakage from the additional pressure on the seams. I would completely redesign the pillow on this product. if you are laying forward your face is smashed on a hard flat inflatable so I have rarely inflated the pillow due to poor product design. If you expect people to use this product outside of a pool the pillow should be more of a face cradle design as you cannot use this product laying on your back with a belly hole for a standard pillow needed in an inflatable. Overall spent 75 dollars for a product that "should last a very long time" only to have it last 6 weeks. good idea- poor product design and expensive for an inflatable.

Game Changer for Belly Sleepers
As a belly sleeper, this was a game changer! At 22 weeks pregnant, I was up 10 times a night or simply couldn’t sleep trying to find a decent position for myself (trying to side sleep) and my wiggling baby, plus constantly having to pee, even while sleeping with a very nice highly rated adjustable u-shaped body pillow. I also have 2 pups that liked to take over the fluffy body pillow for themselves. BUT the past 2 nights with my COZY BUMP have been, no joke, corpse style 9-hours of sleep without even an urge to pee because baby was so comfortable with the spacious bump hole! (No more kicking my bladder!) It definitely took some adjustment of the air compartments. Filling to capacity was too firm for me. So adjusting and letting the air out while I laid on the Cozy Bump until it was to my liking (when I literally fell asleep on it by accident while adjusting it 😂), made it far more comfortable, less firm/more squishy. Plus, my pups stay off of it since it’s air-filled and wobbly unlike the body pillows! I use a twin sized fitted sheet, as recommended, since I’m ultra sensitive to the plastic smell (but that pretty much gets rid of the odor). Other than that, the Cozy Bump has been a miracle for me. I don’t do reviews, but this demanding a review! - I gave it 5/5 overall, but 4/5 stars for comfort and pain relief only because it required quite a bit of personal adjusting with air pressure, and my neck ached a bit from turning my face to sleep face down, since there isn’t a face hole like a massage table. Otherwise, it was comfy for my baby bump, chest, arms (not squished under me or by side sleeping!), and legs, and it was a miracle to finally get multiple full nights of sleep!!! Highly recommend!

Must try
Pillow came faster then expected and was great quality. I would recommend this product for pregnancy, takes all the weight off back and belly won’t touch the bed, great for sleep for massages.

Don’t Fully Inflate It
