I ordered their classic three tier umbrella. This is a high quality product at this price point. The pole, arms, crank, and fabric are very well done. Assembly could not be easier: connect the two parts of the pole together, put the small solar top on (push and twist.), then place in the stand. No tools required. Even the LED switch is thoughtfully placed out of sight at the end of an arm in its umbrella pocket. The LEDs are very bright and lasted into the morning the one night I tested them. I was concerned about what the color of the fabric would actually look like. Some companies have colors are not true to the name. The forest green of the fabric is true forest green. Very pleased and highly recommend this umbrella.

I looked at a lot of brands and chose EliteShade because they are made in the USA, have the best warranty, and the craftsmanship is sturdy and will last. The hand crank is nice and easy, the solar LED lights are on each spine and have an easy one/off switch, and the warranty is 10 years for the fabric which should not fade. If the fabeic does fade, EliteShade will provide a discounted rate to purchase a new one based on years used which I think is pretty darn cool. It cost a bit more than other umbrellas, but when you add in the quality and warranty this will out last the cheaper versions easily and you will spend less in the end since you will not have to replace it every few years. I highly recommend this company. NOTE: It is too bright out to see the lights on and in the picture showing the underside I sis not have them on.

Love this umbrella! The color is really vibrant:-) the lights are always a conversation piece. The only downside is that it is very heavy, and the crank seems a bit weak. This is the second umbrella I had to buy; the first one was not working when it arrived, but I never had time to call. When I did, they didn't help me; they said it was too late. So, the umbrella would not close due to the string on the crank having popped off. Heavy winds came, and the pole broke! However, I love the thick material, and hopefully the crank will last.

Bought 2 navy blue last year. Loved them so much, picked up 2 royal blue this year. I have a strong wind yard and these umbrellas have done great! Fabric is durable quality. Construction is solid. I store them away in the attic for winter in their original boxes. When I retrieved the first two, something went awry with the lights on one. Thought it was the solar panel, and bought new batteries. Still didn't work. Emailing the company, inquired if I could purchase another solar panel. She told me to go test it with a panel I knew was working. Voila! It didn't work. Something in the wiring was amiss. Since it was 13 months from the purchase date, I didn't even inquire about a replacement. But, she offered to submit it! My replacement arrived today! Email communication was prompt back and forth. Customer service is exceptional. And these umbrellas are a relief with how well they withstand the wind gusts we get. I do close them during sustained high winds, but so much better than what I previously purchased from Nebraska Furniture Mart.

TL/DR - beware what others are saying about the cheap metal used at the tilt joint - it crumbles into dust with almost no force applied! A great umbrella, in beautiful yellow fabric, arrived in time for my wife's birthday. The lights worked well and it fit perfectly at the table. But on the 4th use, with just a small puff of wind, the umbrella inflated, qnd... it snapped at the cheap pot metal tilt joint. The entire metal joint just gave way and crumbled into 3 pieces. Not a bend in the pole or a break at a joint or screw as you would expect from a big gust of wind. No, this is metal coming apart at the atomic level and breaking its bonds into dust and powder from a small gentle gust that couldn't even move the cloth napkins on the table at the same time. So I looked up Elite Shade here on amazon after hearing they had a good response time for similar issues, and contacted them hoping I could get a new tilt assembly sent out soon. But nothing. Not even crickets chirping here for any of my queries to them about how to service this new umbrella, that is, alas, outside the 30 day return window... Hoping to hear something.. anything... from them on how to replace parts of it.

So yes, I have now saved countless future customers from pulling a hamstring trying to illuminate their patio. I included a picture of the top secret location. You are welcome. Now for the real story. Last year, Wisconsin decided to cosplay as Texas. Tornado after tornado ripped through here. I did what any sensible person does: stood in front of my giant plate‑glass window and said, “WOW, look at that hail and wind!” Meanwhile, my old $50 umbrella got shredded, lifted, and sent straight to Umbrella Heaven. Gone. No forwarding address. This year? More tornados. More 100+ mph winds. More “Is this the end?” weather. And my EliteShade umbrella? Still standing. Folded up, minding its business, and absolutely unfazed. Three blocks away, buildings were torn apart. My own tree snapped in half like a toothpick. But the umbrella? Not a scratch. Not a bend. Not a fade. Not a wobble. I’m convinced this thing is made out of whatever they use to build aircraft carriers. The vents at the top? They WORK. The fabric? Still forest green — not the sad pink my last “bright red” umbrella turned into after one summer. The promise not to fade? So far, they’re telling the truth. The solar lights? Gorgeous once you know where the switch is (you’re welcome). Conclusion: This umbrella survived storms that took out trees, buildings, and my nerves. It’s windproof, fade‑proof, tornado‑resistant, and apparently Donna‑proof. Five stars. Well endless stars really but that isn't an option on Amazon. The old umbrella, $50. This one $188. While I first gasped at the price, It is worth every penny!!! If this thing ever goes down, I’m going with it.
