This book is irraplacable! My husband got this for me as a gift since I have been learning french and dreaming of planning our trip to Paris that we're planning in a year or two. Let me tell you, this is making our trip come alive. Seeing the streets and learning all about the many modes of transportation, the streets, the stores, the best sight seeing places is making our trip totally come alive in a way I never thought it could before actually going.

My workplace offers guided trips and the person who runs them recommended this book. I can see why! Rick's tips, guided walks, etc have been expertly helping me plan my trip.
