I wasn't expecting it to hide little scratches so well. Very easy to apply too. Also seems like the bottle will last a while, because a little bit goes a long way.

Having a black BMW means always seeing the littlest scratch. Black become like a mirror when highly polished but regular polish just polishes. This Black Turtle Wax Hybrid Polish & Wax really makes a different to address the fine scratches and dings. After I complete paint correction step, Black Turtle Wax Hybrid is easy to apply and value for the quality of the product. It is the ONLY polish/wax I will continue to use on any black car.

I see a lot of mixed reviews on this one. I used it the other day and I can say it does help. It won't make all the imperfections disappear but there is an improvement. People also complained about it not lasting very long... Its a wax, none of them last very long with exposure to elements. Waxes generally don't last too long in general so it will need reapplied. I noticed a bigger impact on the rock chips than the scratches. It's easy to apply and remove. I would recommend a buffer rather than by hand. This product did improve the appearance of the paint and I would recommend but don't expect manage expectations.

Used on a black Jeep TJ that had white crows feet all over the hood. Was amazed at how well this filled those and made the hood look black again from a distance and even from the driver's seat. You can still see the crows feet up close, but I'm very happy with the difference. Haven't washed it since applying, so hopefully that doesn't wash away the pigment and ruin the change.

I am one who relies heavily on reviews, so I hope this one is helpful. I was skeptical at first, but pleased with the results. You must manage your expectations and realize this will only be good for light surface scratches. And if you don't have a buffing machine, it will take numerous applications and some elbow grease. But if you're patient and stay at it, the scratches will come out.

I like this primarily because it gives your black paint a nice deep shine. However, here are a few reasons I don’t give it 5 stars: 1. Price—For the size of the bottle, it seems overpriced. 2. It’s too runny—it doesn’t have the consistency of other wax products I’ve used. You apply it to the pad and it immediately starts running. So you better ready to go, once that thing is on your pad. 3. It doesn’t actually remove swirls. It’s black on black paint, so if you apply enough of it, it sort of fills in any fine dings in the paint and/or very fine swirl marks. But it’s not like a cutting compound or anything like that can actually remove the swirl marks. 4. It’s messy—It’s a black paste, so you better have a devoted pad and a microfibre to apply and clean it off. Do not use this on a car that doesn’t have a black paint. I have a feeling the black paste will smear all over and it wouldn’t be an easy task to clean that mess up.

This went on well and did cover some minor scratches….good product
