My son absolutely loves his alligator, it is so cute! They are soft, cozy, and smell wonderful. It has a lavender scent to it. It is heavy so it works nicely as weighted stuffy as well. The size is perfect actually a little bigger than I was expecting, but I like the size. They stay warm for a decent amount of time compared to rice bags that I’ve had and I haven’t had any issues with leakage yet. My boys have had them for two months and they’re still in great shape so as of now they’re pretty durable. Honestly, these are a bit expensive in my mind, but they are great quality, my son uses it every single nightand hopefully they’ll last a while so as a one time purchase, I would say good value for the money.

This makes a great gift and is perfect for mild aches and pains or just comfort. I love the lavender scent and how easy it is to use

Five stars do not do these stuffed animals justice. I gave this little guy as a gift but have bought quite a few warmers stiffed animals, most as gifts. Straight out of the package they STINK. The lavender smell is not the same as most lavender products. This is French lavender and it wasn’t pleasant. It’s also very strong. The smell does fade some with time but more amazingly is the fact that over time while using it you begin to respond to the smell differently. I’ve noticed this in myself and others that have used warmies. I suppose it’s like smelling coffee, your brain and body just know what’s coming when you smell it. After about a week of being around and heating the animals I now find the smell to be almost pleasant. I don’t think it’s that the smell has changed. I think it’s some kind of response to using them. As for the alligator…he’s cute and cuddly on his own way but I probably wouldn’t choose an alligator again unless someone specifically wanted that animal. The way it’s made all the flax filling just falls to the tail so there’s a lot of area with no stuffing of any kind unless you want to spread the flax filling out every time you move it. This alligator was gifted to a young child that later got a puppy warmies. By far the puppy is the child’s favorite. I think a lot of it has to do with how the alligator is stuffed. Having bought bears, puppy’s, alligator, animal neck warmer…from this company, I can say all but the neck warmers are better and easier to use than the alligator. The neck warmers have the same issue with the flax filling all falling to one area. If you’re looking for which animal holds heat the longest, the koala and moose and other animals shaped like them. All the stuffing in those shaped animals stays together and retains heat well.

I bought this to deal with pain and it's pretty great. I don't have a particular affinity towards alligators, but I suspected an animal that was flat-shaped would have a better surface area for what I needed. I don't personally care for the lavender scent, but it's impossible to find one of these in any other scent so I knew what I was getting into. If you're into lavender it will only be a noon. This is a sizable animal, the body contains all the seeds and the head and paws are fluff filled. It has a really nice weight to it, so if you're using it for pain management it has enough pressure to help the heat soak in. I would say it retains heat for about 2-4 hours depending, though it's best in the first hour. I used electric heat pads before but I like this better because it's much safer and I can sleep with it if I need to. Some people mentioned dryer heating it. I tried this method as well and found the dryer heat did not permeate as well as putting it in the microwave. This item can also initially feel not as warm when you first pull it out of the microwave than it actually is, so you need to be careful with it so you don't burn yourself when you use it. Very happy with this item, the only thing that could make me knock it down a star is if it proves to have poor durability, but I can't judge that yet.

I bought this because I was tired of using a heating pad and it not working for my cramps. This was such a good decision! I was afraid it wouldn’t work good or hold heat long enough but it does. I usually heat it for the time it says and it stays warm for a while for me. It also has a little weight to it and that helps me with my cramps. It also has a lavender scent that smells amazing to me. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who experiences bad period cramps like me. And you can choose your favorite animal which is the best part!😍😍

This Alligator Warmie is really well made and is made from quality materials by the look and feel of the doll. I was concerned that I might end up with the Jr Warmie Alligator, but I had nothing to worry about. It's the full size 19" long doll. I only have to microwave it for just 40 seconds, and it's perfect for the cold nights we get where I live. The doll is cool, cute and has a lot of character. It's main purpose of warming me up and providing soothing aromatherapy? -- well, the doll is absolutely awesome when using for those reasons. It's a soft and warm buddy that keeps me comfortable... It does exactly what it's supposed to, and I'm pleased with it on every level.

My grandson loves it

I got my first one of these when I got married and I loved it a lot even then especially during that time of the month to help with cramps. But when I got pregnant, I was prone to cysts on my tail bone. I used Mr. Gator here to help with the pain from the cyst because I couldn't take any anti-inflammatory medication and acetemetophen didn't do anything! Well my first cyst was lanced at a hospital, but my second cyst came at a time I couldn't go to the hospital so I instead I ended up laying on the couch in a terrible amount of pain with this warmie gator right on my bottom to help soothe the pain it could. I woke up in the middle of the night with the cyst popped all over me and the gator. After cleaning up the now opened wound and myself, I looked to my gator who very well was past the point of no return. (If you've ever had a cyst pop you know the disgusting ooze that comes out of it and the terrible awful smell that comes from it.) My gator was dead and had died helping me! It was like losing a friend when we had to toss him, we had been through so much together! After all was said and done, I couldn't let his memory die, so I bought another one! All in all this gator is an amazing, comforting friend who is willing to die for you!
