Product is great. Very sturdy and well built. I bought it for our kitchen pantry to keep our toddlers out. Problem is I want to use the notched side of the latch hands-free as it's intended to be when closing the door but I can't. The latch barrel won't flip so the notch/slant can be used for doors that open out or in. It's only made for doors that open out like a patio door and the latch installed on the inside frame of the door. Hope that makes sense.

Love the latch. Used for my attic stairs to keep the seal tight. The paint does scrape off after a couple uses.

Self closing spring latches were ordered with a certain purpose in mind, but the bevel of the latch is opposite of what I needed. I will try to use these for another, future project. They are definitely well made, and heavy duty, appear simple to use, and would stay securely latched.

I installed this on a drawer that holds my ice chest in my camper van and it works great. Quality product and easy to install.

These went back. I installed one of the two and it fell apart after opening the latch once.
