Permatex 85913 Clear RTV Silicone Adhesive Sealant, 7.25 oz. PowerBead Can,Package May Vary

My 95 F150 rear window continued to leak after installing a new gasket and after talking with my local glass shop they recommended using this product. I must say it worked like a charm to stop the leak. The application tip is excellent for specific application of a fine bead. I will purchase this again for other projects.

You can clean the top out and use it over and over

A little pricey but it is easy to use and stays fresh in the can.

I sort of felt like buying this in a pressurized container was overkill. I've always used a squeeze tube or caulk gun in the past. But, wow -- it is so much easier to run an even bead with this pressurized dispenser. It dried crystal clear (and shiny -- the area where it is sort of looks wet, which is fine since it's a very thin bead). I can't really speak to the durability of the silicone adhesive yet, since it hasn't been nearly long enough for any type of caulk or sealant to fail, but so far it shows no signs of wear.

Product did not work at all. Despite following all instructions, the silicone would not come out of the bottle. Usually Permatex has great products, so perhaps I received a defect. Regardless, I could not use it to even provide any information as to its effectiveness.

I used this to glue some shims behind my new shower enclosure. I also used it to seal the enclosure to the floor and walls and caulk the edges. I have never had a sealant go on so smooth and easy. Looks professional. I only wish that the shower doors cooperated as well.

I was unable to use the whole can, even after sealing it up and using it shortly afterwards. It costs more and you get less than in the tube. I bought it because I thought the trigger would be easier on my hands, but it really wasn’t that much better.
