This is a medium size steel rechargeable fire extinguisher that should be able to handle any kitchen fire. It is heavily made and seems to be very good quality. It came with all the hardware to be mounted on a wall though we will keep it on the floor just under our peninsula within reach. Very glad to have it after watching a neighbors house burn down because they weren't equipped to stop a small fire right when it started. We now have two extinguishers strategicly placed in our home. We also added a couple fire blankets. A few dollars versus a whole house.

Fits perfectly for semi as described.. no leakage, easy to install & use is a plus.. it's not too heavy and not too light.. Just right.. so far so good for safety.. would buy again..

We bought a couple of these 5 years ago just in case after a close scare with call waterproof bagworms that don't burn. This was a lifesaver and it saved my mower from total destruction. Because of this fire extinguisher the damage was limited and the mower can be rebuilt. It put out way more powder and fire stopping ability than I would have ever imagined. Be sure you're not breathing when you turn this thing on it comes out fast and furiously. Five stars for sure lots of stop ability here you got about 15 seconds ago maybe 20 it'll get the job done. I think this could probably put out a one-room fire if you started in the center and went in a circle. Wouldn't guarantee it but for the money it's a good deal and it saves lives darn sure saves mowers.

A good ABC fire extinguisher. We purchased this because of the First Alert name and that our other FA extinguisher came with a proper mount which included a metal fastening band (see picture). The PRO5, instead, comes with a tiny L-shaped piece of stamped metal from which the extinguisher essentially dangles. More frustrating is the cheap plastic ring tossed in the box which you are DIY-tasked to tussle over the cylinder so the hose has something to clip to. Normally not a problem but the ring is just undersized enough to ensure I had to fight with trying to put is on for several minutes before giving up. My lesson learned is check and double check what is and isn't included before ordering. Otherwise a fine extinguisher.

Happy to see the gauge is full and ready -- I hope I never need this - but feel safer now that I have it. There was smoke outside but thought the worse, that it was inside, then realized I have nothing to fight with -- NOW I do!
