I've been testing ways to deter without killing and this one seems to be more effective.It's German made, comes with batteries and mini screwdriver so you can get the back open.This one you can hear but if your putting them in cupboards then you can't hear through the cupboard.Avoid mouse deterrent mint sprays, the mice were literally chewing where I sprayed it.Not properly tested the scented sachets, but they do smell more effective from opening the pack.I've also got an ultrasonic one which you can't hear but the mice seem to be getting used to that one.Conclusion- these products do deter but there isn't a conclusive end to the problem. You need to be using multiple methods. Thoroughly clean everything regularly so you can see where your traps should lay and reduce your risk of disease. Put any food out of reach etc.

Better than poison any day, which we had spent a small fortune on over the years - literally within 20 minutes the uninvited guests left our home and not a problem for 2 years. Recently had to buy two more as not sure if these have a shelf life, even with new batteries, as first time in over two years the horrors were back! - we live near fields. Switched the new ones on, and literally five minutes later silence. Did hear the horrors once or twice during the night, the first time for no more than 3 seconds, the second about one second. So simple to use; put batteries in, place anywhere noises could be hear and silence. Just remember to check the batteries every couple of months

Utter trash, don't waste your time! See pictures for evidence!They arrived on the Monday and were instantly set up with high quality Duracell batteries. (Be warned the back cover is a pain to remove and the o ring inside appears to be foam instead of the rubber that it should be to keep it water resistant.)One was positioned as in the photo by a known rat run, the other was positioned by an area where they had been excavating.This picture was taken on the following Sunday, as you can clearly see the Rat has ZERO fear! Both units have provided no deterrence whatsoever! They are being returned for a refund as clearly they are not fit for purpose!Update: After bringing in these to return they had leaked and let water in to the back as per my comment of the unsatisfactory o rings. Been using these for 2 nights so far after witnessing 3 rats in the back garden.Thankfully they seem to work as a deterrent and keep them away but they are far from perfect.The battery covers are very hard to remove to replace the batteries.Also if you have pets they may be sensitive to the noise. Our cat isn't deterred by the noise and did investigate the source. However she does audibly respond to the tone emitted. Due to this I have decided to turn off the units when we let her out.Hopefully leaving them running at night will work and I will update on anything further if it does affect our cat negatively.After all we want to get rid of unwanted pests without harmful means

Produit d'apparence solide et d'une efficacité redoutable, je me battais contre des rongeurs à la campagne dans un cabanon de jardin rien n'y faisait. Avec ce produit au bout d'une semaine plus de compagnie de rongeurs, certainement utiles, mais indésirables. Je recommande c e produit, le seul bémol il fonctionne avec des piles et pas sur le secteur, pensez à les remplacer mais elle dure tres tres longtemps.

Ni contre les campagnols, ni contre les rats, j’en ai toujours autant chez mes poules, heureusement que j’ai un chien qui les chasse, mais la pauvre , elle devient folle avec les bestioles, les sons ne font faire aucun rongeurs, nuisible

It’s perfect. I put it on in a house where there were no mice and now there are still no mice.
