Question 1

If this kills mosquitos, will it also harm bees and butterflies?  I would rather tolerate mosquitos than kill those.  I'm trying to attract them.

It doesn’t kill mosquitoes, it repels them. They don’t like the scent. Similar to citronella and lavender. I have not noticed that it affects beneficial pollinators in anyway.

Yes it works temporarily. I probably need to respray after 3 days, i usually use it when kids are outside for long periods. It's a very potent formula if you use it without mixing, however remember garlic has a strong smell so probably don't want to use it at your front porch if you are having guests over.  I recall using it on those huge bugs and spiders on my yard and it killed them instantly, on the mosquitoes it takes time, i spray it around my deck kind of creating a barrier, there's always a few here and there that will stay but eventually they'll flee. Make sure to spray again after the rain

Question 3

I live in central Florida I think our state bird is a mosquito. Has anyone from Florida tried this product? I would greatly appreciate your opinion.

I used it last summer (Tampa Bay area) and had good results. I put it in a pump sprayer and sprayed all around the doors, base of the house, on the walls, and deck. Not as many got in the house since they weren't hanging around the doors. With all our rains, I had to re spray every couple of days though. It seems to repel them for awhile. I didn't have as many getting in the house last season. If it looked like there was going to be a few days of no rain, I would spray the shrubbery too. You definitely need to strain the juice with some cheese cloth as you put it in the sprayer. It's garlic particles will clog  the sprayer wand. I wore disposable gloves when handling the cheese cloth. That STRONG garlic smell will stick with you if you get it on you. It didn't get rid of them all, but it did help, and it's not toxic. Reapply as often as you like. Just don't spray the bees and butterflies directly.

Does it work against Green Heads or horse flies? Depending on where you live they are called different things
