Great pack!
It's a step up from my other hiking backpacks both in price and size. This one is meant for serious hiking. It has padded straps and the part that goes against your back is mesh, but there is an internal spine on either side to prevent the pack from sitting right on your back, which means that it's breathable. The pack is contoured to the body so it's comfortable to wear. Straps at the waist and chest to help with support, and there is a lot of little side and back pockets off the main compartment for storing things. This backpack is compatible with hydration systems as well. Main compartment is closed with a draw string closure, and then there is a rain flap that can go over that. At the bottom there are two straps that can be expanded to fit a sleeping bag (or tent) underneath your pack, or whatever else you may want to store there.Love the colors I got, blue and purple really look great. Very pleased.
