Lab Scale 2000gx0.01g Digital Precision Analytical Balance - High Precision Electronic Balance for Jewelry, Kitchen, Scientific, and Laboratory Use

These balance scales are great. I was surprised to find an OIML Class III label on the side. I am fortunate to have an F1 grade calibration weight set to hand, so was able to perform a full calibration, where the only error obvserved was +0.02g on the right side of the weighing pan, during the offset checks, so this balance scale would pass to OIML Grade I. The balance was able to weigh 50mg , without error. In use, the balance is wery quick and the counting function is great (I used it for counting cloves). The 500g weight showed no error, when compared to the F1 500g calibration weight (using the balance scale i.e. 500.00g). The level indicator is satisfactory; however doesn't appear to be high precision. The weighing pan is quite sturdy; however, the edges are a little rough and a good deburr would've been appreciated. It's a shame the 500g weight wasn't supplied in a protective case, I wouldn't mind paying a little more for that (and a deburr on the pan). Question: Would I have bought the Balance without access to a set of calibration weights? Answer: Probably not, but I'm more than happy with this product, for the price.

A really good set of scales. The scales measure to a hundredth of a gramme, which is an unnecessary level of accuracy unless you are weighing individual drops of water, but is extremely useful for knowing how close you are to your target weight. The accuracy also means that you can be sure the scales are consistent - if you re-weigh an item, you will get exactly the same result. I've used cheap so-called "jewellery scales" before, and I used to get different readings for the same thing each time. These Bonvoisin scales are properly made and consistent. The scales are easy to use, and it's easy to set them to zero for weighing things in containers. The scales come with two weights for calibration. My scales needed calibrating when I took them out of the box, but calibration isn't difficult and takes a few seconds to do. I haven't needed to do it since. My only really minor criticisms are that it takes PP3 9v batteries instead of AAs, and there is only just enough space for the battery and its wires to fit. You have to fiddle with it for ages to get the battery cover closed. (Tip: get as much of the wire into the body of the base as possible before you slide the battery in.) Also, you have to press the "on" button more than just briefly for it to switch on. These are irrelevant complaints compared to how useful the scales are. I'm really pleased with them.

This scales died for no reason, I thought I had no come back and left a review. The seller contacted me and offered me a refund or a fix. It turns out all it needed was a new lead which the seller sent me and it now works perfectly again. As the seller reached out to me to help I will buy from them again, as I would like to get another scales with larger capabilities.

We needed an accurate scale for measuring essential oils, powders and lighter ingredients than your typical baking ingredients. We’ve used cheap kitchen scales in the past and they’ve all failed us terribly. So we gave this more expensive one a go. So far, worth every bit of the price. It was simple to calibrate. The legs are twist adjustable to ensure even flatness for the calibration. There’s a tiny level bubble to ensure that you are completely flat/level. It’s very sensitive, just by blowing lightly on the scale will pick up some weight to it. Not ideal if the washing machine is running at full speed, which funny enough happened to us on our first use. Only negatives is that most of the movable parts are all cheap plastic, mainly the legs and buttons. So not sure how long those will last with constant use. But otherwise, no regrets in buying this at all.

They are so accurate

The actual scales are good but the lead and plug broke within 2 uses,tried to get them to send another plug and lead but didn’t get back to me. I don’t like writing bad reviews so I waited two weeks for a reply. Communication is the key to life and this company don’t have that.

Purchased for mixing eliquid. These are probably overkill, but if you make a lot of 10ml test bottles and need to measure small amounts like 0.05g then these scales are perfect. They respond at the low range better than anything else I have tried. They WILL register one drop of liquid @0.02. Includes calibration weight and mains power cable. Adjustable feet and levelling bubble. no complaints at all. They are expensive but you get what you pay for. Very good quality.

Ich habe die Bonvoisin 2000gx 0,01g digitale Präzisionswaage für mein Heimlabor gekauft, da ich eine zuverlässige und hochpräzise Waage für feinste Messungen im Bereich Chemie, Schmuck und gelegentlich auch Küche benötige – und ich bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden! Verarbeitung und Design Die Waage macht einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck. Das Gehäuse ist stabil verarbeitet, die Oberfläche ist glatt und leicht zu reinigen. Das Display ist beleuchtet und gut ablesbar, auch bei schlechteren Lichtverhältnissen. Die Bedientasten sind reaktionsschnell und logisch angeordnet. Besonders praktisch finde ich die Windschutzabdeckung aus Kunststoff – sie verhindert, dass kleinste Luftzüge das Messergebnis verfälschen. Funktionen & Genauigkeit Die Genauigkeit von 0,01g (also 10 Milligramm) ist absolut beeindruckend und für meine Einsatzzwecke mehr als ausreichend. Ich habe verschiedene Testmessungen durchgeführt (mit Kalibriergewichten und bekannten Substanzen) und die Ergebnisse waren stets reproduzierbar und stabil. Folgende Funktionen haben sich für mich als besonders nützlich erwiesen: • Tara-Funktion: Funktioniert zuverlässig und ist schnell. • Einheitenwahl: Gramm, Karat, Unzen usw. – ideal für vielfältige Anwendungen. • Kalibrierfunktion: Die Kalibrierung war unkompliziert. Ein passendes 2000g-Kalibriergewicht war bei meiner Version nicht dabei, das sollte man gegebenenfalls separat bestellen. Einsatzbereiche Ich nutze die Waage sowohl für die Dosierung von Chemikalien in kleinen Mengen als auch zur Bestimmung von Edelmetallen, Kräutern und sogar für kleinere Küchenanwendungen wie die Zubereitung von Hefeteigen mit exakten Zutatenverhältnissen. Auch als Briefwaage eignet sie sich hervorragend. Lieferumfang Die Waage kam gut verpackt und sicher geschützt an. Enthalten war: • Die Waage selbst • Ein Netzteil • Eine Anleitung (auch auf Englisch verständlich) • Ein Windschutz Fazit Die Bonvoisin Präzisionswaage überzeugt durch hohe Messgenauigkeit, einfache Bedienung und ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Für alle, die im Labor, in der Schmuckverarbeitung oder im Hobbybereich präzise Messungen durchführen möchten, ist diese Waage eine ausgezeichnete Wahl.

EDIT : IL rivenditore mi ha contattato spontaneamente ed ha risolto il problema. Premetto subito che le 3 stelle sono rapportate al prezzo di acquisto di 100 euro e che sarebbero state 5 se non fosse per un paio di difetti di esecuzione meccanica abbastanza evidenti. Pro : l'oggetto è imballato a dovere nella confezione, i pesi di calibrazione (2x500gr) sono in dotazione, la prestazione di misura DOPO la calibrazione è dignitosa (per il prezzo), il display è ben leggibile, il piatto è grande a sufficienza. Contro : l'albero di misura che esce dal corpo della bilancia è fuori squadra, ne consegue che il piatto è vistosamente inclinato su un lato (inizialmente credevo fosse storta la crociera di metallo, in realtà è proprio inclinato l'albero, vedi foto), i contorni del tray di acciaio sono decisamente taglienti (ho stampato un semplice tray sostitutivo per non tagliarmi), la facilità con cui ruotano i piedini fa si che la messa in bolla vada facilmente persa spostando la bilancia. Per rendere "guardabile" la bilancia ho piazzato una rondella M4 soto la testa della vite destra che fissa la crociera di supporto del tray, la bolla del piano di misura non è ancora perfetta ma si avvicina alla sufficienza. In sintesi, la qualità meccanica va sicuramente rivista, con un piatto non tagliente e non inclinato su un lato avrei dato tranquillamente 5 stelle. Una raccomandazione per tutti : NON usate la bilancia se non l'avete prima calibrata.

I was a little unsure because of the price but since I’m making shampoos I needed something more accurate than my little food scale. This scale is awesome and quick to set up and start using. Seems accurate.

La balanza Bonvoisin 0.1 g destaca por su alta precisión y su amplia superficie de pesaje. Está bien construida, con materiales resistentes y de buena calidad. Gracias a sus patas ajustables y al pequeño nivel de burbuja integrado, se puede calibrar y nivelar fácilmente. Los resultados de pesaje son fiables y consistentes, ideal para mediciones precisas o trabajos delicados. En conjunto, una balanza excelente con una relación calidad-precio muy convincente.

Very precise and doesn't have the weird quirks of my previous kitchen scale. I especially like that it doesn't turn off (timeout) while you're using it.
