So glad both of Davies work is now available in one volume. I had read Haunted: Horror of Haverfordwest (ARC NETGALLEY) and was taken back by the account, the way it was written and just how terrifying it was. These two original testimonies did not disappoint. Davies has grown as a writer and you can feel his confidence in Haunted Horror of Haverfordwest and though these are his early works, he tackles the subjects of depression, hauntings and ghost sex (yikes) in an utterly convincing fashion. These were self-published and now and again you can see that but the feel, the intensity, the fear are very present. Davies is growing with each new book. I dread how terrifying his next book will be. If he continues with such consistency he may very well become the Welsh version of H.P.Lovecraft. That is the greatest honour I can give. Excellent, A must...just not before bed. *****
