Westerly 4 Decorative Hand-Woven Small Water Hyacinth Wicker Storage Basket, 13x11x11 Perfect for Shelving Units

My wife wanted some type of woven fibre bins for this piece in our kitchen and these 16" x 11" x 11" Water Hyacinth bins fit perfectly. Though they are collapsable they seems quite sturdy and of very good quality. The small platforms that support the bottom seem strong as well (although I wouldn't suggest placing excessively heavy items in them with a plan to carry/move them about). As an aside - the width of our piece (inside post to inside post) is 50.25" and the bins are 11" wide leaving just over 1" between them and still making them easy to pull out for access. Very happy with the look and our purchase overall (not to mention very prompt shipping and FedEx delivery without any packaging or product damage of any kind).

I read the review by Christie P below and almost didn't order these. That review is well done and comes with photos. It's a very helpful review! However, I needed this size of basket -- especially the depth -- and decided to roll the dice. I ordered 12 total baskets (3 orders of 4 baskets) and was expecting that a few would be damaged or faulty. To my surprise, all 12 of the baskets are GREAT! None of my 12 came with an awful smell, and all 12 of mine look nice (no ripped weaves or strange dyes or anything). Truly, they are great! These baskets are not for carrying heavy objects. They are wicker (or some plant fiber) woven around a metal frame. The bottom panel is a separate piece that you have to pop in in order to assemble the baskets. If you but heavy objects in these, the bottom likely will pop out. However, if you want these for non-heavy objects, the are fabulous! The depth is great. I'm using mine atop my kitchen cabinets to store things like tea, potato chips, crackers, random kitchen items that get used only at the holidays, etc. I do recommend!

These are nice-looking, a good size for what I was looking for, and seem to be good quality for the price. The only problem is they have small gaps between the bottom and sides, and the bottom falls out if you turn them over. I don't plan to move them or do anything other than store things in them under our bathroom sink, so for that purpose they are fine.

Wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered and love them! Exact size I needed for my storage cubby's. Very sturdy well made.

Don't waste your money!!! These arrive FLAT. When you unfold them, they are open on two sided. The "bottom" has four small triangle shaped pieces on the frame that are supposed to hold the flat 2nd piece that lays in to form the "bottom" of the basket. The flat piece is loose and ill-fitting. This "basket" isn't strong enough to hold a pile a feathers, much less anything else. No pictures or details about this horrible design was mentioned in the description. RETURNED IMMEDIATELY!!!
