The Logitech Z533 has an excellent frequency range. The treble is clear and crisp, and the bass booms when it should!

I am very disappointed with Logitech and the two third party sellers that I bought the computer speakers from. I have heard that Logitech makes good electronics. But about a month after I bought the computer speakers, the volume control knob started making a "crackling" sound when I would adjust the volume. Also, sometimes one of the small speakers would not work. I would have to play around with and push down on the volume control knob several times to get both small speakers to work. I thought it was just these speakers that were defected. So, I returned it and bought another one from another third-party seller on Amazon. Well, after about two weeks the second speaker system did the same thing. About 15% of the time the volume control knob makes a "crackling" sound and one of the speakers does not work unless I play with the volume control knob. It was to frustrating to return the first one and then also have the second speaker systems not working correctly. So, I didn't return the second one. I've just put up with these issues since I bought it in Oct. 2022. I thought that Logitech would have been more careful with their quality control and the two third party sellers would have been more careful and checked them thoroughly before they sold them. Besides these issues, the sound quality is good, and it has good base sound. The volume is good but not great. It's loud for one room. But it's not too loud if I am in another room. For the price, I thought the volume would have been a little louder. If I ever decide to upgrade and get a five speaker surround sound speaker system, I won't take a chance again buy from Logitech. Having bad speakers too times is too much for me.

I've been using these speakers for about 3 years now and they're so loud and the bass is amazing, 100% worth every penny. the quality is incredible, and I love the audio adjustability knob, it's so soft and has a nice light to tell you if the speakers are on or off. super aesthetic.

I purchased Logitech speakers just like this back in 2002. The function was great but the high pitch crisp sound was not there. I needed to replace the system and I bought this one hoping there would be an improvement but there isn't. Its functions are great. Bass is great but overall sound quality is not great due to it lacking good treble sound. It also sounds like the sound is echoing as if you're in a closet. We have sound bar which is connected to the TV that we use for parties and movies. I'm a bit disappointed with this system. I would have returned it but it seemed to be packed by an engineer so I decided to keep it. It's ok for the price.

So, we recently had a power issue (power was not fully on but had 50v on the line) this ended up killing my Bose computer system. Now I like Bose but will never buy new as the price is ridicules for what you get. So, I went searching on Amazon and found these, did some homework. I wanted 1. wall mounts 2. Base speaker 3. Volume puck and this one had all but #1 but I have a 3D printer so that would not be an issue. Got the unit and tried it before wiring (some people mentioned getting DOA units so I tested it first). Sounds amazing, even better than my old $400 Bose (I only paid $60 for the Bose used). It hooks up very easy with 1 issue, the base went below my desk but I could not fit the volume puck between the wall and desk (and my desk has like 500lb.s os stuff on it), this was going to be a major issue but I was able to pull the knob off the top and just squeeze it between the desk and wall. Then I designed some cool 3D printed mounts that bolted to the wall then simply pressed the satellite speakers to it and it holds them very firm. My only issue now is the base unit is near (like 3") to my metal mini file cabinet and on high base sounds the cabinet rattles (mind you it's in the same place as the Bose but it did not do this), not a big deal as I ordered some Dynamat to stick to the file cabinet and this will eliminate the vibration sound. Would I recommend these? Yes, no frills with the inputs, no bluetooth but for just computer speakers they rock!

I listen to music in my home using my computer and this speaker system sounds great. The sound is like that of a small home stereo, and it can fill the entire room. If you want good quality sound and like your music loud, for under $200 these are the way to go. I originally bought the smaller cheaper ones (Z313) and was a bit disappointed. These are like their bigger older brother. So much better.

I bought these to replace a set of Altecs, the left channel has eventually developed an intermittent cut-out and it's become super annoying. Logitech I appreciate for their mice and trackballs, and occasionally keyboards, so I thought this was a smart move. For speakers that cost 2-3x what the Altecs did, the sound is absolute garbage. In comparison to the Altecs: - The bass may get a little loud, but it doesn't drop nearly as low; it's mid-bass and not bass. For a woofer larger than the Altecs it's like it doesn't do half of what it should. - The highs are barely existent. - Mid-range is there, the majority of the sound is mid, but very flat and uninspired. Sending these back. Maybe they're defective, but for the price I'd expect something at least as good as what they're replacing.

These sound pretty great! Bass is impressive for sure. High side Speaker sound quality could be better but the bass makes up for it. As posted in my picture of my set up it's kind of in a "cubby" so the bass really shakes it up in there. I definitely like these speakers, I prefer to play with speakers when playing single player games but use headphones for multiplayer, I've been looking for a good speaker set for awhile and ones WITHOUT RBG lights plastered on everything and these look good! I love the volume dial, very smooth and looks good, only downside was it CANNOT be disconnected and the wire routed prior to full installation of the set unfortunately but i just rested the dial on my PC, The Bass adjustment is smooth too.

I find the sound quality pretty decent for this price. Good bass and highs, lacks a bit of mid range frequencies. I recommend these soundspeakers.

Hey I just wanted to let you guys know I bought the speakers and I understand what other people are saying about the buzzing noise. It seems logitech has sent a really poor quality 3.5mm dubbing cable to connect these speakers to your PC with some off spacing which results in buzzing noise when connected to my motherboard, if I move the cable around (at the motherboard side of it!) the buzzing noise goes away. So I'll replace that cheap 3.5mm Male-Male Stereo Audio cable logitech bundled with the unit, and replace it with a better one with gold plated connectors. So for the reviewers out there saying there is a buzzing noise, I think this is the most likely cause! With the buzzing issue resolved by replacing the cheap male-male audio cable Logitech bundled with the unit, as I stated, these speakers sound amazing and produce absolutely NO hissing or buzzing noises that are detectable to me with my ear right next to the speakers with volume turned to absolute maximum. Don't let these bad reviews about buzzing noise scare you, at worst you can replace the audio cable with a better one for an extra $2 and buzzing noise will be gone... otherwise I can tell you with certainty that you received a defective set because these speakers are wonderful.

I've had these speakers for a few days now hooked up to my PC and have gotten to test them in a bunch of different situations. So far any type of media I throw at it sounds fantastic! 1. Music I tried a variety of music from very bassey hip-hop, to more flat mid bands like Grateful Dead and some heavy metal. Each genre sounded as it should and the subwoofer made a lot of bass tons that would otherwise be drowned out come up closer to the front where you can really appreciate them. 2. Gaming Played Cyberpunk 2077 and everything sounded great. The stereo effect of hearing voices on the street coming from around me while mixing in the music coming from a street vendor all sounded realistic and deep. While playing pinball the smack of the ball, the bells, dings, bumpers and flippers all sounded true to life. 3. Video I watch a lot of youtube videos and the speakers perform as they should. The beauty comes out in films as the heavy bass from the sub and the high quality speakers make for a really great home theatre experience. Cons? Id say the one con for me is the wiring of the speakers and volume control. In my opinion they should have made the volume controller detachable as well as the power cord. Really not a big deal. All-in-all this is a great set of computer speakers. You're getting what you pay for with these and maybe a little more. They look fantastic (where many pc speakers can look corny or cheap), sound fantastic and the giant volume control knob is a beautiful tactile addition. I don't think anyone could be disappointed with this purchase.
