Ive purchased well over 30 of these for my business. I'm a car audio installer. These are about 5 dollars cheaper than the ones I was buying from PAC Audio... and they work identically!

Turned my couch into a charging station! Perfect!
Got tired of having extension cords running everywhere and wired our large sectional couch with USB charging outlets. Looked everywhere for mountable USB plugs, these fit the bill perfectly. These come with six foot cables, wish they were a bit longer but I just got a multi plug USB charging hub and centrally located it under the couch. Mounted three, one on each end and one in the corner (pictured). These are absolutely perfect, clean, discreet, and easy to install (two wood screws into the bottom frame rail of the couch). Not sure why more people haven’t done this, but my wife now thinks I’m just a bit cooler...so I’ll take it!

Minor imperfections, but works great.
Uses this to replace an unused cigarette lighter to get a dash mounted USB port from the radio. I had to drill my stock hole out to 1-1/8". The nut went on the back of the unit rather hard. It was so flexible that any pressure deformed the nut and it would not twist. The port itself is also bent slightly making it difficult to insert a USB drive. When all is said and done it looks good and works well. My installation left a lot of cable to hide, but it would probably be perfect for an under dash mount. I would recommend this USB cable.

Perfect for extending the USB connection from the back of a TV
Bought a new TV and the USB port was way in the back and not easy to get to, so this short extension was perfect to bring it back to the front. I used some 3m double stick tape to attach the small mount to the bottom of that TV case, so the cord is neatly tucked out of sight.

Looks OEM
I was a little skeptical about this item. I went and purchased a step drill bit and drilled using a 13/16 size. The usb port fit nice and tight. Looks oem and better than letting the cables dangle.

Works well
I finally got around to installing this USB extension in my SUV. It works great, transfer speed is fast, and installation was a breeze. I installed it on the center console and looks like it came from the factory with it.
