Nuzest Clean Lean Protein - Vegan Pea Protein Powder Rich Chocolate 1.1 lb

After buying plant fusion brand chocolate pea protein for a long time and finding out it has heavy metals in it, I decided to switch brands and ended up trying this one. I love how simple and clean the ingredients are. It is a little pricey but that's what you pay for something that blends perfectly, tastes pretty good, and is nice clean/no heavy metals/toxins/added junk in the ingredients! I just made my first smoothie with it and it blended perfectly - nice light and fluffy. It has a very mild chocolate flavor but honestly, I'd prefer that and just add my own cacao powder in than something with an intense flavor I can't easily alter. Try blending it with a generous splash of almond milk, a handful of ice, and two frozen bananas!

Love this high quality clean protein powder! I use it in my morning smoothie. Chocolate is my favorite flavor. The vanilla is also good. I mix in filtered water and some frozen organic fruit, coconut yogurt, freshly ground organic flax blended.

This is my second tub of this protein powder. I first got the small tub to try and immediately ordered a bigger tub here on amazon. I absolutely love this. It blends so well with my morning protein shake (banana, medjool date, spinach, almond milk, and nuzest). This keeps me full and satiated until lunch. There is a pinch of aftertaste, but nothing near what I've experienced in other protein powders. I've read a lot of reviews saying this is too expensive for the amount. I understand the feeling, but when you have health problems and you have to spend thousands on medical bills, this is a great alternative. I'd rather take care of myself and INVEST in my health so that I never have to go through my recent health scare ever again. You get what you pay for, and this is by far the best vegan protein powder I've had in YEARS. If anything changes, I will update this review.

I’ve used this product for about a year, but something has changed in my last few purchases. According to some other reviews, the manufacturer changed the formula. I keep adding more and more stevia, thinking that would improve the taste, but it doesn’t work. It tastes terrible, my stomach gets bubbly, I get bloated and generally suffer from gastric distress. For awhile, I thought something else must be causing my reactions, but now I’m convinced that it’s definitely this product. It was recommended to me because of its protein to carb ratio, but I’m going back to my old vegan protein powder. It has a higher carb ratio, but it tastes great and doesn’t upset my stomach.

This has so grit to it. Enjoyed the peanut butter flavor but the chocolate was not good.

As someone who has nut allergies and is lactose intolerant, it’s hard to find a protein powder. I’ve been buying this for several years and it’s the best I’ve found for both taste and texture.

Personally I have yet to find a powder protein that tastes good to me. This is better than most but I still chug it down instead of savoring it.

You can put anything you want in this smoothie and it will taste like a decadent chocolate treat. Spinach? Easy. Beet root greens? Chocolate paradise. It is a little sweet if you're used to unflavored protein powder, but I am amazed. Haven't tried it in baking recipes yet, but excited to start. The texture is a little mealy, so if you can get past that, you can do anything with this stuff. I think it would provide great texture to baked goods. Great purchase and love that it has minimal ingredients. Will definitely be purchasing again.
