Wenger Patriot Rolling Business Set

I've been very happy with this product. Much more space than you'd come to expect from the roller boards. I'm a AV show tech for the speaker event industry and travel quite a bit around the country. So there is a lot of lifting and shoving of this bag into the overhead compartments of aircraft in the MD88/Canadian Regional Jet size class. Although equipped with (2) 17 inch laptops, accessories, 3 ring binder, a touch pad, and several other items, I still had additional space to store more. Fully loaded (with above mentioned items), it still fits in the overhead compartments. Not so much under the seat though. Just not enough vertical space available under those seats. The item has held up very well since June of this year. With that said, I'd highly recommend this project. Very sturdy grip and handle, smooth wheel action and very tough material. Zippers glide real well and do not stick, as many do, after very little use. On a side note, I had also purchased a Alienware 17" laptop backpack at the same time and has had the same use. Well, that bag is now in the manufacture's hands for replacement. Split seams on both straps... and it only carried a laptop, power supply, maybe the touch pad at times, ear buds and a few markers, pens & pencils. As you can imagine, I didn't rate positively or recommendation that particular product...

My husband travels a done. He needed good wheels, luggage to fit in plane overhead, pockets and storage in bag and durability. He got this. The extra case helps too. He travels so when he leaves hotel for a business meeting he may not need the entire carrier. The case makes for easier handling for meeting. He doesn't look like he's moving in when he goes to the meeting. I searched many bags on line before I bought this one. SWISS WENGER is a good product so I went with that brand. They did not disappoint us. Worth the money. A deal.

I just received this order. I am going to give it 5 stars because this is a replacement for my Granada Swiss Gear case which was an excellent case. It was very functional, and looked good and I liked it very much.. The Granada was damaged by an airline when gate checked on a regional flight. So the fact that I replaced it with the same brand and similar design is testament in itself. The Patriot case is exactly like the Granada but has an extra pocket. I originally got this case because I carry my personal 17" laptop and a company 15.5" laptop as well as an ipad and other accessories. The Granada held my 17" laptop in the large pocked advertised to hold overnight clothing and it worked great for me. The Patriot has an extra pocket that hold my 17" just perfectly and now I actually can put some clothing in there too. It is a little thicker but I think it's going to work just great. I'll amend this once I've made a couple flights

Roomy, well thought-out storage. I can transport a 15-inch Thinkpad, slim projector (an Epson), a one-piece speaker (Memorex), various files, binders, etc., plus the power supplies, cables for all of it. There are a couple of small pockets, even one with plush lining for whatever needs plush lining, and those are quite handy for laser pointers, cell phone, whatever. Handle extends far enough for fairly easy rolling, though the narrow wheel spread tends to make it easy to tip if you're maneuvering around confused travelers. Not that much of an issue, just noticed it. There needs to be a thin layer of padding in the back compartment where the handle shafts are. Whatever is in that pocket will be resting on the hard tubes inside, and it's a great pocket for the laptop otherwise. I prefer to keep the laptop in back, then the projector and speaker are side-by-side in the more padded middle pocket. A thin pad between the handle and compartment would make me feel better about it. If you are checking the bag, I'd be sure that back pocket has nothing fragile in it for that reason. Wenger definitely stands by their products, and others in my office have had zippers go bad (after a LOT of use), and Wenger sent them a new bag. They had to send a cellphone picture of the zipper that failed, but Wenger immediately shipped a bag and told them to keep the old one. Got to like that.

I purchased this same model from Costco about 4 years ago for about $65. It has traveled around the world, been molested by TSA, it was even stolen and recovered, never had a problem with the stitching, zippers, wheels, or telecoping of the handle - in fact all are still in very good condition. The handle (on the telescope arms) itself finally broke a few days ago - a plastic part on the inside where the handle attaches. Other than that the bag is still good, but I carry a lot of stuff so with out the telescoping handle it's a pain to carry around. All and all this is an excellent buy, and I got my money's worth. With this new one, unfortunately there are some changes, the old one had a zipper pouch on the very front of the first gussett (very useful for holding flight schedules, hotel/car reservations, passports, etc - the new model does not (it still has the mini pouch between first and second gussett. Inside the first gussett, the old one had a zippered netted pouch, this one has two sewn in netted pouches - doesn't hold as much stuff. The second gussett with the two dividers, on the old one the dividers were slightly padded, this is where I keep my laptop, the new one is not padded. And in the old one, in the third guesset there were two sewn in netted compartments, the new one does not have this. I don't remember if the old one had a separate small sholder laptop carry case included, the new one does. I have a 17" laptop and it does not fit it - so it's useless to me. Otherwise my 17" fits fine in the bag with out the carry case.

I had a similar bag from another company for many years. I loved how it could accomodate my business supplies, files, laptop, files, as well as some clothing. I ran it into the ground! I was having such a hard time trying to find one to replace it. Since I already had Wegner luggage, I figured I'd try the Wenger Patriot. IT HAS EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS! Not only does it accomodate my needs with many little compartments and a place for everything, but I LOVE how it has the removeable laptop case. It was so easy going through security at that airport. I just lifted the case and put it on the belt. I was reluctant to spend the money, but I'm so glad I did. It is worth every single penny!

This bag is my rolling office. I used a backpack for years and frankly my back was starting to complain. I can fit my computer, iPad, a week's worth of files, chargers, cables, etc. - all that I could want with me at a given time. It is not light when loaded down; have to remember that when removing it from overhead storage on planes. The wheels are smooth rolling. The handle seems to be a little loose fitting but it has not given me any issues. Perhaps they designed it that way to help it give some for twisting, etc. Net net it seems to be sturdy enough. I know of two colleagues who have purchased the same bag and like it also. The secondary computer bag is a nice accessory that I am unsure I will never use, but if I have a day trip in the near future I may see how useful it is. So far so good.

Storage, capacity and durability of the bag of excellent. The handle quality just does not match the quality of the bag. I am afraid the handle and I are going to leave my bag behind anyway now so for that reason only I can't give five stars and can't recommend as dependable product.

This Wenger Patriot wheeled laptop briefcase is outstanding. The build quality is excellent — sturdy, professional, and clearly made to last. The main compartment easily fits my 17-inch laptop, and the included 15.4-inch case is a great bonus for lighter trips or meetings. The layout is well thought out, with plenty of organised storage for documents, accessories, and cables. The wheels roll smoothly, and the handle extends and retracts effortlessly. It looks smart and businesslike without being bulky. A perfect choice for anyone who travels or commutes regularly with tech and paperwork. Five stars for design, practicality, and quality.

写真ではスイスの国旗マークが黒ベースですが、実際には安い方の赤ベースの商品が届きました。返品し再度注文しなおしてくれ・・・とamazonカスタマーに言われ再注文したが、また間違った赤の商品が。そして再度同じことを言われ注文。３度目は強くクレームを入れ検品してもらい判明しましたが、商品管理のミス（タグ付け）で赤の商品に黒の品番がついている模様。実際には黒はないとのこと。amazonの商品管理難ありです。まだ写真も修整されず残念です。気を付けてご購入下さい。

El costo es elevado en relació a otros productos sin embargo hasta la fecha ha cumplido satisfactoriamente. Las ruedas son resistentes y no se han averiado, es amplio y con diversos compartimientos, los cierres son excelentes y el material externo protege de la lluvia (no quiere decir que se pueda dejar por tiempos prolongados). Hasta la fecha, ha cumplido, sin embargo, uno de los motivos por los cuales lo adquirí es la durabilidad, espero cumpla con ello.
