They do a good job of isolation but mostly because of a tight clamp mechanism, my roommate and I both felt pain after wearing them for more than 20 minutes. No amount of adjusting the sides will change this but if you stretch it out over something larger than your head for a day or two it will be less painful...In case you're wondering, yeah we have normal sized heads. The 3 stars are for the decent sound quality, surprisingly powerful bass and the price.

Pretty good set of headphones for the average user. Sound is crisp and the bass is deep. The styling is very awesome and seems sturdy enough. I purchased these because the price was too good to be true for the Wesc brand. I had (the now discontinued) Bongo headphones from Wesc previously and had to replace them after years of usage and finally breaking on me. This was a suitable upgrade.I do say though, it is definitely a lot tighter around the head than I am used to. It's not as comfortable, and after wearing them for an extended period of 30 minutes or more, it really feels like I have a migraine from all the pressure it puts on my head. Maybe it's just me, or I haven't broken in my new headphones yet to loosen up the pressure. That was my main concern, but still quite happy about the overall product.

i have a fierce loyalty to wesc headphones, but the metal size adjuster snapped right off the left headphone. the few times that i got to use them, the sound quality was great, and did a sufficient job in noise cancelling the rowdy subways i'm accustomed to on my commutes. it was less than thirty days in, and no unusual circumstances led to the snapping. its really unfortunate. amazon wouldn't take it back, and the warranty was useless for wesc since i purchased it from a third party. won't be buying these from amazon again. the prices from wesc are actually less expensive than what amazon charges for their headphones anyway.

They fit her tiney round ears perfectly. If your ears don't fit that description, like my own-which I've never thought of as calling undue attention, they are simply uncomfortable. Sound quality...for a young teen who wil likely loose or break them, there fine.

These caused an issue with my iPhone (4). Any time I'd try to use them to listen to music on my phone, the player would go nuts and skip around and fast forward, etc. I think it has something to do with the button on the cord, which the phone doesn't know what to make of? My simplistic uneducated diagnosis. Anyway- these are not compatible with at least the iPhone 4.

Great product (compared with price). Sound is clear and deep. Headphones are robust and beautiful to wear. They put the world around on mute.

Ear foams kept falling off and hard to get back on. Headphones have not broken and still work but are twisted and the structure didn't hold up well. I would return mine if I had made time to do so earlier.

Purchased these headphones for myself and my husband. I am in grad school and listen to a lot of online lectures...needed a good comfortable over the ear headphone for long sessions of listening. My husband watches a lot of movies on his iPad, and he needed a pair that he could wear for extended periods as well. They feel great for about the first 15 minutes...then they squeeze your ears so terribly that you have to take them off! I tried adjusting them every which way with NO LUCK! I am sorely disappointed and will be shopping for another pair of over the ear headphones, but most certainly not from this company! Buyer beware!

BROKE THE FIRST DAY I OPENED THE BOX. I would typically hold my judgement but I bought 2 and they both broke the first day. Unfortunately I opened them up after the return timing.
