I will admit to being skeptical when my husband ordered these holders. We usually fill up our stockings and I wasn’t sure if these holders would be able to handle the weight. I was wrong, these holders are wonderful. We filled our stockings as usual and these holders didn’t bend, slip, or fall! I love the snowflake etching which is subtle but elevates these holders from being utilitarian to classy and festive. Would definitely buy again.

These are perfect for my family! I’ve made stockings for my kids, their spouses and my grandkids - 16 in all. Traditional stocking hangers were cute but took up too much room. I couldn’t get 16 on the mantel! These look nice and give me the ability to place them close enough together to get all 16 stockings hanging together. They are well-made and sturdy, and I like the design so that the stockings hang close to the mantel and are still above the fireplace. I don’t plan to hang stuffed stockings on them, and don’t know whether or not the hangers would be stable enough to hold heavy stockings. But for what I need they are perfect! They are strong and will last for years! I’m very happy with this purchase. The only thing you should be aware of is that I ordered the brushed nickel and they are beautiful, but much darker than I expected for brushed nickel.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about these stocking hooks. They're AMAZING. They hold very large, very heavy stockings (packed with dvds, candy, bath products, you name it). We have a new construction home with a white mantle that has an ornate edge. I was so worried about the prospect of splitting the wood by hammering in nails, which I felt might be the only remaining option for us until I found these great hooks. Last year we tried those truly HORRIBLE 3M hooks which are TRASH. Not only did the 3M hooks not hold the stockings, they ripped the paint off our mantle when the release strip broke while trying to remove them (and the release strips ALWAYS break for us). So when I found these non-marring hooks that didn't require nails or glue or sticky release tabs, I decided it was worth a try. To our amazement they worked like a charm. They don't slip and slide due to a clear rubber gripping underside. You can bend them easily to close them tighter or widen them up to fit your mantle edge. Plus, they're attractive while at the same time inconspicuous when a stocking is hung on them. I can't tell you how many times during the holidays we said this was one of the very best purchases we ever made. The price may seem high but you'll pat yourself on the back for paying it when you see how well they work. The best part is that when the holidays are over & you take them down, there is no evidence of them ever having been there.

Simple, sturdy, and functional! We have a lip on the top of the mantle edge that makes it impossible for typical stocking holders to sit flat. These are a great alternative and did not damage the paint! Love them

These beautiful stocking holders do a wonderful job holding my stockings and jingle bells. The bells are heavy so I had to add clear anti-slip dots to the two areas where it touches the mantle so it doesn't slip. It works great, looks lovely and is not damaging my white painted mantle. I took off a star as it really doesn't hold anything with much weight so do not attempt to fill the stockings. Very happy with purchase.

These are great stocking hooks! I like the embossed holly design. They worked perfectly for our stockings this Christmas. I liked that they were padded with clear plastic underneath so they didn't damage our mantel at all. It is painted white, so I was worried about that since any mark would show. Our stockings were filled & heavy and these hooks held them just fine. It was fun to see them up on Christmas morning, and not just laying on the couch as in the past. I think these are a little expensive for what they are, but they are the best option I found and I do expect them to last for years and years, so I think it is money well spent. They fit on our mantel without needing any adjustment. I much prefer them to weighted stocking holders that can be pulled off and create a dangerous situation for small children. The design of these makes then nearly impossible to accidentally pull off, because pulling down just increases the hold. Even if a child did pull one off, it's not likely to cause any injury as it's fairly small and light. I'm very happy with these and am glad I finally found a solution for hanging our stockings!

These are sturdy, functional, classy and not overly large. When the stocking is stuffed it doesn't pull the clip off the mantle. We have 7 stockings so these look very nice. Appropriate for different sizes and ages of stocking.

I've used my set for two Christmases now. This is important for two reasons. First, I stored them year round in a garage that is not climate controlled. I live in the deep south where humidity and heat are merciless. The stocking hangers came out looking as good as the day I put them in the garage. No rust whatsoever. Second, they clip to my mantle and have handled stockings of different sizes and weights for two holidays now and performed perfectly. I don't like the stocking holders that rely on some chunky piece of metal usually shaped to resemble a reindeer or a Santa, to act as a counterweight. They look clunky, interfere with mantel decorations, and, if they fall, are likely to do damage to a floor or hearth. These are simple to use, simple to store and work like a charm.

These hang stockings very nicely. They won't hold a full stocking, but for the empty they are very nice.

Really good product. Fit my mantle like a dream and has a bit of rubber inside so they don’t slip. The perfect solution as they are elegant and understated. Also seem like they will last i.e quite sturdy

These fit my wide mantle with ease and held the weight of full stockings. No marks were left when removed. Simple and elegant, just what I was looking for instead of all the ornate clips that are out there.

Not as advertised. Said that it could expand and still work properly. Unable to use or hang anything on it
