Device arrived bricked
Device is stuck in a boot cycle. It will not connect to network or tftp server. Device never accesses network. The MAC address never shows up in the address table.

Does not work with third party services
Phones were in fantastic shape. Unfortunately for me they did not have the proper firmware on them to run on anything other than Cisco software. I needed to use it with ring central and found out to get the licenses to convert them would have been another $80+ for each phone!

I purchased this refurb for my home office. Works just like the one in my work office. Couldn't be happier.

CUCM Compatible. Not MPP/SIP without rigorous Set-Up
For those customers who are looking to buy a 8851 Cisco phone please be aware that many of the phones ordered are CUCM phones meaning that they only work with Cisco Software, these phones will not work with a aplication like FreePBX or 3CX or similar pbx softwares. Though if you know people who are in the IT industry who know how to set these up do not buy. Overall the quality of the phone is okay it is in great condition. You have been warned... Unless you know what you are doing.
